It’s interesting that both this and Mario Kart: World originally started as Switch 1 games, and only later they decided to move to Switch 2.

- Koizumi is the one who suggested this team do a DK game
- They decline to sepcify information about DK’s age, why Pauline is 13
- DKB started out on Switch 1
- Part of the inspiration for the gameplay was one dev just doing technical experiments with voxels

I remember when they did that with Breath of the Wild. Link literally has a WiiU gamepad that you can’t use on the WiiU. You can only use it as a main monitor.
