      Are you saying it doesn’t matter if the majority of people are against a fascist regime? In many countries that probably would be true, but the US is massive and spread out with millions of guns and many state agencies that might not be as sympathetic to these sorts of crackdowns or would oppose a militant escalation against protests. It’s not just the right who have guns also, nearly all political tendencies recognize the need to be armed. An anti-government insurgency would look much different here than what we’ve seen in the past.
