Less likely than EVERYONE who looks Asian ending up in camps.
Japanese people aren’t Asian, but Indian (from India) people are. There’s no underlying logic, it’s just hate.

In Britain “Asian” means you’re from India, Bangladesh or Pakistan. Not from Japan etc. Then you’re from the Far East.
Okay, but what if you, you know, like, ask people from Asia what “Asian” means?

Maybe they’re counting Japanese people as Pacific Islanders? Which imo seems more racist somehow.
Technically true, though. The connotation paints a wildly incorrect picture, but Japan does consist of islands in the pacific…
