See, that makes sense to me. Its not like your eating that for every meal so you still get variety. And you don’t have to think about lunch when getting ready for work/school or whatnot.
- Comment on Cutting sucks 2 days ago:
Theres a gym bro at my work who eats the same meals everyday. Its something like plain oatmeal, protein shake, boiled chicken, greek yogurt. Every day, no seasoning, all plain and boring. He was complaining to me that he has to almost force himself to eat sometimes and im just thinking like “yeah no shit, you eat wall paste every meal”.

I don’t even know what it is. Ive stared at it for at least a solid two minutes looking for errors. It screams AI to me but I cant find that detail that proves it. I hate that this is what sharing pictures online has become. Scrutinizing every little detail to see if I should care or not.

I wasn’t sure where this was going but as soon as I said “George W Bush” my brain just filled in the rest.

I hope they make it play on max volume no mater what your settings, just for nostalgia’s sake.

Yeah I should have clarified, You want them alive up until youre cooking them. No need to make them suffer any more than needed.

Its dead. If it were still alive the tail and legs would be curling instead of being limp like that. Ideally you should cook lobster as fresh as possible (alive) because they only stay good for 6-12 hours tops after death.
- Comment on Password manager by Amazon 2 weeks ago:
Im guilty of this. I dont write out the passwords in plaintext though. Its mostly just a few letters to remind me of which version of my many “master” passwords i used and then asterisks. PW0****$ kinda thing. I know its bad but I can’t bring myself to trust a password manager.

I appreciate the dedication. Your random screenshots inspire me sometimes to dig out some old games and give them a replay so thanks!

There was a cat that lived behind a job I had years ago. It was a mean little shit and wouldn’t let anyone near it without hissing and running off. I was a smoker back then and I guess me being out there smoking everyday and just not bothering the cat, It learned I wasn’t a threat. Eventually It came and chilled next to me on my breaks, then after a month of that finally let me pet it. The cat would still hiss at anyone else that tried to pet it but me, was pretty awesome.

I was recently looking for a job and all the Dunkins around me were hiring like crazy. Thing is though, they pay shit wages and everyone knows it, so the job ads had to be disguised. They were all under a parent company name and never had pay info listed. It wasn’t until you clicked the apply button that it took you to a site with Dunkin Donuts listed on it. If you have to trick people into working for you then I don’t trust you to make me something im putting in my body.
- Comment on Is possible to learn to swim, just by reading a lot about it? 4 weeks ago:
I do a lot of research on random things. ADHD urges me to go into deep dives on very niche subjects that I don’t really have any experience with. On the rare occasions that that research becomes applicable to my actual life, I do feel that I am more skilled than a complete novice would be. I still need to get the practical practice in but if I understand the core theory of something first, its way easier for me to pick it up first try.

- Comment on Google Gemini is coming for your private apps. Here's how to stop it 4 weeks ago:
Im not sure when the update came out but I’ve had two forced updates in the past 3-4 months for my Pixel 6. Im assuming thats when it changed. I am very meticulous about checking settings after updates but It looks like this was only online settings for your google account, not local to the phone, which is probably how I missed it.

Funny how I turned off any data sharing for google years ago but the inclusion of gemini somehow voids my previous decision.

Its gotten to the point, I search from DDG or Mojeek or something instead of in YouTube. YT search is just a placebo at this point.
- Comment on Facebook is asking to use Meta AI on photos in your camera roll you haven’t yet shared 5 weeks ago:
That brings up a good point though. Based on just the screenshot here, it seems like the user wont have a choice of what gets uploaded. People keep some pretty raunchy photos on their phone sometimes. Even kids might have some questionable photos. This is just asking for trouble.

My hunch says that the good people who get into politics, end up staying more local to help their communities directly. The ones who aspire to raise the ranks are the ones you don’t want leading to begin with.
