I do enjoy Strange New Worlds. It’s almost what I want out of NuTrek, I just wish it was a new crew on a new ship. Keep the cast, I have no problem with them, I just don’t like that NuTrek is 82% based on nostalgia

- Comment on Xbox as a platform is officially dead 2 weeks ago:
I never upgraded from the Xbox One and haven’t one felt like I’ve missed anything this entire generation.
My next console will be either a steam deck or just a living room PC running Linux.
It’s not in the budget right now though, so it depends what’s available when I decide to pull the trigger

We are, but we’d have to give up a lot.
However, they keep taking more and more. So how long before they take enough that giving up the rest is worth it?

Yeah, we’ve gone as far as we need to in the flashy boom boom section of entertainment. Good character, good writing, and fun gameplay were always the cornerstones of good movies and video games.

Mine does that too, and there’s $300 in fees that don’t relate to the actual power used. Using no utilities, I’d still have to pay that much.

Also a good idea. Even wear headphones (with nothing on, or something on low) so you can ignore people and they won’t know you’re just being rude. ;)

Try riding a bike?
You’re moving faster and people don’t expect you to stop and talk or anything. The bike ride is reason enough to be outside, so you don’t have to feel that awkwardness of being somewhere without a purpose.

In the CFL (Canadian Football League) the players don’t make more than $100,000/yr generally, and the good ones get scooped up to the NFL.

No one will ever convince me that Nu-Trek isn’t an alternate universe.
Simply for the fact that Starfleet decided to retrofit the Enterprise with buttons, knobs, and CRT screens before giving it to Kirk? Makes no sense.
