I literally only ever use it to rewrite things I’ve already written or to get my thoughts started when I’m having writer’s block (professional writing - not a creative writer). I really don’t understand why people use it beyond that. I don’t like having to check its homework all the damn time
Basically it’s just a tool for getting me to phrase or look at something differently. I can get tunnel vision when I’m writing or trying to come up with ideas.

…that’s not white knighting. I said they gave a bad example and provided a better one.
This is pretty sad dude. Are you really that upset about the other conversation that you spent time scrolling through my comments to try and find the vaguest opportunity to try and use my own comment against me? I sure hope it was everything you hoped it would be lol

Oh interesting. My schools were 69 and under was F. My understanding was 65 was a typical cutoff
- Comment on Milking dust 1 week ago:
That’s an F in the US education system almost everywhere (maybe everywhere barring specific curves?) and though we may think ill of them as a third world shithole that does mean something.

Jesus you white knights need to calm down and let them respond for themselves.

When your response is so obviously canned (and arguably forced) it really takes a lot of the sting out of it lol

Not to mention that studios like Larian have proven that it's entirely possible to make a blockbuster game without teams of 400 heads, changing direction and leadership every few years and laying off the people who made the product in the first place. They really seethed at that one, so many salty comments lol.

Totally agree but the person they’re responding to implied they were some scrappy indie production. Ex33 (there are caveats/asterisks here but still) is a much better example. I think at its peak the whole team was like 40 people with hired hands.

I assume people mean 3440x1440 when they say 1440 as it’s way more common than 2560x1440.
Most people do not use WS as evidenced by the mixed bag support it gets. 1440 monitors are by default understood to be 2560x1440p as it’s 16:9 which is still considered the “default” by the vast majority of businesses and people alike. You may operate as if most people using 1440+ are on WS but that’s a very atypical assumption.
Raytracing sure but otherwise the 4090 is actually better than the 5070 in many respects.

The planet money piece is very long so I’ll have to check it out later, but the Vice article says nothing of the sort and actually spends time mocking people and saying it’s a conspiracy. So I’m not really sure how that at all supports what you’re saying. It just says CIA is interested in and involved in crypto, which makes sense given how it’s used. It does not say anything at all about them starting it or having a major hand in it.

Not all of us can afford to spend $3000 for a 20-30% performance bump over a $700 option. I don’t really understand how this is so difficult to understand lol
Going Nvidia also means unless you want to be fighting your machine all the time, you need to keep a Windows partition on your computer. Have fun with that.
- Comment on NVIDIA is full of shit 1 week ago:
Not 1440. 3440x1440 is 20% more pixel to render than standard 1440’s. It’s a WS.
And yeah it’s not matching a 5090, a graphics card that costs more than 3x mine and sure as hell isn’t giving 3x the performance.

Yeah I got a 9070 + 9800x3d for around $1100 all-in. Couldn’t be happier with the performance. Expedition 33 running max settings at 80-90fps
- Comment on NVIDIA is full of shit 1 week ago:
Once the 9070 dropped all arguments for Nvidia stopped being worthy of consideration outside of very niche/fringe needs.

Then they had the balls to brag about having a real Ethernet port on the OLED’s dock as if it was some massive innovation and not something standard for the prior ~20 years.
