I don’t, (I speak spanish though, so that could do?) but I was actually just imagining being like… Star struck and nervous? Ha. But I would make it work either way. maybe we could communicate through drawing . Imagine sketching for him like… Idk a mecha suit, or some sci fi stuff… Or drawing a dinosaur or a microbe or something.out of the scope of the science at the time. what would he come up in return?

As an art and anatomy person DaVinci of course!! („ಡωಡ„) Could I even formulate a coherent sentence? Who knows! Surely he has somthing we could cut up and poke around in if words fail… Or just to see him work on whatever, Oh man, what a dream.

As soon as you understand that traversing the level is the real boss… christ on a cracker, the amount of times I’ve fallen to my death. (I’m on crystal cave, I should know better by now)

Might explain why the fight scenes shown in the trailer looked meh?.. I would expect the producers gave a shit if they are adapting a property built arround combat… And soulslike combat for fucks sake! But in this day and age… Sigh.

90% or so of HK is fine, and it’s the remaining 10% that’s a true ball buster.
That makes sense. I do like my trophies and good endings so I’ll give it a solid try. But yeah, not everything is for everyone, I’m no stranger to enjoying a game I know I’ll never play watching someone else go through it; all fine and dandy in my book.

I’ve been holding off on Lies of P for like a year but this is it! I’ll have to clear my schedule a bit to dive in properly, so juuust a little longer…

The great thing about being a patient gamer, (hopefully)there’ll be just a short wait for me!

For what it’s worth, I haven’t found anything in it super difficult and I’m by no means “a good gamer”, the soul recovery mechanic is not bad; but if platforming is not for you I guess that’s enough to stay away from it,… (I also haven’t found it terrible, and I’m prone to mistakes , ha.)
I’m not sure how far along I’m in it, so perhaps I haven’t reached the turbo hard stuff yet? maybe it gets insane later… I went blind and know nothing apart from what I’ve seen. So far it’s been an excellent experience, the game checks all the boxes for me.

Been playing a bit of Hollow Knight again. The world is so incredibly vast and beautiful. Got to the distant village and found one of the dreamers, Herrah.

Just comented this in another thread, but Amon Tobin’s soundtrack for Splinter Cell Chaos Theory goes fucking hard.

And to clarify, self promo is ok! My complaint is about the ones who wouldn’t even see this post (or any other post for the matter), much less reply to it. They just take up space and do not give anything of value back. Imo. As the fediverse grows it’s bound to happen, it just pisses me off.
- Comment on Uptick in inflammatory posts 3 weeks ago:
Not inflammatory, but I’ve noticed some new users who come only to do self promotion, without engaging in anyting else in the platform. Mostly in art related subs but also a couple trying to promote a shady website or the like. Even though my account is new I’ve been browsing for a good while and dislike people that are only looking for an audience not a community.

We are building something nice here. ;) It’s very welcoming. For most of my online life I’ve been just a lurker, I here I feel like my presence needs to add something of value, even if small.

Painted World of Ariamis
Ooh this must be what’s beyond the painting in Anor Londo, one of my pinned locations. I already scratched my head a bit trying to find the way to interact with it. Even though I’m in no hurry, my concern is that if I wait too long to solve the mystery sometimes I arrive overleveled, and that kills the fun. Already happened with the catacombs. Ha. We’ll see how it goes.
Thanks for the tips, marine friend.

So the DLC is hidden? damn, I’m already pinning a bunch of things I feel I’ll need to go back to, so thanks for the heads up… I always try do a very thorough first playthrough, and I’ve noticed that everytime I come back to an area I find new shit so yeah things are easy to miss.

Few things are as satisfying as unlocking shortcuts during your first blind playthrough of Dark Souls.
Those dopamine hits, unparalleled.
The way the world invites you to just look a little closer, walk a little further… But careful, don’t indulge too much otherwise, Death. it teaches the mechanics so good.
Unfortunately yes, playing other titles first spoils some of the experience, you learn to anticipate too many things. Regardless I’ve still been surprised, mostly the level design. It is superb. I do not feel let down by the bosses, they are easier, but still good. I appreciate the fights, and everything arround is so well made the simplicity doesn’t have an effect on my enjoyment. I think I am around halfway through, and looking forward to the rest.

I’m also going through my first DS1 playthrough and, it’s just another vibe. I had no issue adjusting to what the world was giving me. It’s immersive and charming; as you said traversing the world is the challenge here, and feels rewarding af. Elden ring is the culmination of all those years of perfecting boss design under this formula, it’s so great to see where everything comes from. I debated hard wether to play this or demon souls first … Now I don’t want it to end.

Yaay!!
I donned my fanciest attire, and went to get this screenshot for you. (Pls read the text, is a little npc dialogue)
Congratulations on making it on a year of posts, your contributions are greatly apptrciated! I particularly enjoy seeing your stuff because you play a lot of games that I haven’t played, (and probably I will not play) but I get to know a bit about them and appreciate the artistic vision and a tiny bit of the world through your eyes and writing. You take some good screenshots as well!
Also, the written format is also something I favor over video (there is already too much of that around) and enjoy the personal touch. Today I read you with my morning coffee. :)
Thank you!
