I’ve found criminals and high up business people are never friends, just friends when it suits them. They’ll have HUGE fallouts then be ok with each other when they need each other. Just IME

I’m really sorry this is happening it’s fucking rough. I’d refer him to social services as well, he needs MH treatment but won’t do it himself. He may be bad enough for them to section him IDK.
He’s also likely with your local doctors I’d ring them too.

Great start. It also goes for work. Even if they’re open about it, just don’t allow comment on it at all at work. People quite often say “so there’s a lad working on X team and he’s trans but you’d never know” or needlessly say “oh yeah Katie, she’s trans”. Shut that down RUTHLESSLY around you unless the trans person says not to
