I’d definitely at least suggest chugging water and getting crunchy water like apples and cucumbers in you. Also if you drink caffeine less than two hours after you wake up, your body hasn’t flushed out the sleep receptors from last night yet and you’ve gotten them shored up to hit you again later in the afternoon. Caffeine literally has zero energy in it. Speaking as someone who still drinks it but is trying to be VERY careful with the timing (never later than 6hrs before bed time, that’s the half life of Caffeine), it doesn’t give you energy. It just shuts off sleepiness temporarily, but if you were already sleepy when you drank it you’re gonna be sleepy again later. Maybe supplement with those Caffeine-free energy drinks like the gamersupps options for the placebo effect?
(As for the beer, is a little weed an option in your area or is that just trading bad for bad? I had a can of thc plus the other thing drink once and holy damn that was the best sleep I EVER had. Finally shut the brain up.)

It’s also an option with some of the Canadian companies so I have to make sure the two year term is to-own whenever I get a new phone.
- Comment on Microsoft fires employee protestor who called AI boss a ‘war profiteer’ 2 weeks ago:
Yeah she was working on AI auto-transcription for audio thinking ‘this will help people sort audio! Yay’ and found out it’s ‘it’ll help them sort audio of Palestinian phone calls so we can forward locations to the Israelis for bombings! No!’ Like how dynamite was supposed to be for construction and then it got turned into bombs.
How would you even screen tech work to make sure you’re not contributing to genocides by applying? Only apply to companies that explicitly say ‘Free Palestine’ on their profiles? Do they even exist in the USA? Not to mention she familiarized herself with the policy supporting human rights concerns before sending that message. The one that in a sane world would have prevented any of this from even happening (Microsoft’s involvement anyway).

being unsure or uncaring is supposed to be agnosticism, though. atheism is an outright rejection of the possibility. (this is NOT a commentary on if one is more correct than the other.)
- Comment on Instagram Is Full Of Openly Available AI-Generated Child Abuse Content. 3 weeks ago:
On the one hand, DNS was being needlessly accusatory and the logic of ‘you don’t understand how predators work so you must be one’ is silly. On the other hand, I get why they’re being so caustic because YES CP is ABSOLUTELY used exactly how they describe. The idea is that by getting the child used to sexual activity, they’ll get used to thinking about sexual activity and won’t be as freaked by inappropriate propositions, perhaps even believing they’re the initiator instead of being manipulated and taken advantage of, and then they won’t report the predator to authorities. Not to mention some of the predators who actually feel child attraction (as opposed to the more than 50% who are just rapists of opportunity) use that manufactured consent to self-delude themselves into thinking ‘well they’re enjoying it and they said yes so I’m not REALLY doing anything wrong’.
Part 4 on this article interviewing someone who was trying to research pedos on the dark web, for one example: “In other words, there are child molestation crusaders out there, and Pam ran into a lot of this on the Deep Web. Below is one response to a 7axxn post from a guy, bemoaning his inability to be anything but a “leech” (a person who consumes the content but never submits any) because his family situation made it impossible to actively share child pornography. The other members suggested he could aid “the cause” by helping to “enlighten & educate” the children in his life on the “true philosophies of love”” cracked.com/personal-experiences-1760-5-things-i-…

Shout-out to Gamers Nexus for making a written site for all their content gamersnexus.net tho i recognize that’s not very helpful for avoiding American lol
- Comment on EU considers tariffs on digital services Big Tech 3 weeks ago:
Yeah they pulled out of QC so if I wasn’t so close to Ontario they’d be completely useless for me in canada too. Not that I haven’t avoided them for big purchases like computer stuff already, gonna have to look what general marketplaces we have otherwise lol
- Comment on EU considers tariffs on digital services Big Tech 3 weeks ago:
Which is a thing that’s happened on Steam twice this month thanks to update loopholes and some outbound link fuckery. Also anti-cheat is kernel level, which is why you can’t play a lot of multiplayer games on Linux, but you don’t see a lot of PC games forgoing it because the alternative is being unplayable. Turns out some idiot Sony music exec (which is literally a separate company from Sony interactive) was ahead of the curve on the new normal, much as I also hate it lol
- Comment on EU considers tariffs on digital services Big Tech 3 weeks ago:
For you guys. Amazon canada will still be infested with them, for instance. Also that’s assuming the dropshippers don’t just reroute their stuff to whoever has the lowest tariffs before delivering it here, like how lindt is moving all it’s delivery back into Europe so that they can go around the US to deliver to places like Canada.
- Comment on YouTube removes 'gender identity' from hate speech policy 3 weeks ago:
It used to say gender expression and identity. If it doesn’t, that’s a deliberate decision that could cause enforcement calls like ‘well that’s not your REAL gender so this isn’t harassment’.

Fentanyl is a part of the category ‘all drugs’. Some places like Uruguay have literally ZERO penalties for drug use recreationally, and they haven’t defined limits on the amount for personal use on anything but Marijuana (40g) so the judge would have to decide if the woman was carrying a huge amount or if there was a possibility it was personal use. www.tni.org/…/about-drug-law-reform-in-uruguay

- Comment on Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Has Released on GOG! 3 weeks ago:
The story is also much simpler than KCD so you don’t have to pay attention. Characters are also quite one dimensional, it’s easy to follow, much like Avowed.
There was nothing factual about bringing the character simplicity into this because you made it sound like the reason they failed to find an objective was because they weren’t reading and enjoying the story, when what they explained perfectly well was that they picked one dialogue option, not realising it was going to be mutually exclusive with the other because both options just looked like informational inquiries, and the other option with relevant info was gone forever. Simple characters has nothing to do with that, and made it look VERY much like you were saying they weren’t up to the task of enjoying a game with interesting ones.

Nylon? I would think this would be a ‘print the moulds we use to pour in silicone’ situation, if we’re going for usability. formlabs.com/blog/casting-silicone-guide/ On an engineering note I’m also sure I’ve seen this exact thing before, but I wonder what would improve it. Self-heating? DIY solution could be a hidden pocket for reusable handwarmers lol

Okay but the very fact that Brave is a crypto-riddled mess that REPEATEDLY SCAMMED ITS OWN USERS (in what world do you think that’s stopped, and it isn’t just ‘we haven’t found out how they’re still doing it in 2025 yet’) is absolutely influenced by his views. His views are baked in to everything about that browser, up to and including YET ANOTHER bloody built-in LLM constantly popping up on interaction and trying to sell you on AI hallucinations being the future while wasting heck knows how much electricity (Leo).
