Mods can also see them for their communities iirc.
But it’s part of the activity pub protocol and how things work between federated platforms. Some platforms display the votes in public for everyone

I poked around it enough to make sure it worked but it says to play it in one sitting so I’ve got to find a chunk of spare time maybe this weekend. I think I’ll like it from what I’ve seen though. Some puzzles to solve and the premise intrigues me

In case anyone is wondering, you can add the .exe to steam via games -> add non steam game.
Then once added go to game properties -> compatibility-> force compatibility -> proton
Idk if you need to force it or not but that’s what i did and it’s working

SC has stand your ground. Wouldn’t brandishing a weapon basically green light you for using proportional force to stop an illegal act?
Even better, id be interested to see what happens in a state with castle doctrine.

The “development team” literally replaced my username with “DELETED”, supposedly in a literal interpretation of “can you delete this user?” request, and that’s it.
Should’ve asked "can you admin this user? 😅

Styx games have rpg elements and have shadow achievements which you do not kill anyone. Dishonored i believe have the same but i don’t think those can be loosely called rpg

LLMs hallucinate and are generally willing to go down rabbit holes. so if you have some crazy theory then you’re more likely to get a false positive from a chatgpt.
So i think it just exacerbates things more than alternatives
- Comment on Gen Z's 'overemployed' solution for a broken economy: 5 jobs and $3K per day. It's totally legal 3 weeks ago:
It may not meet the dictionary definition but I’ve considered moonlighting working an extra job, without necessarily telling your boss, but outside of regular work hours.
Overemployed i see used in the context of working multiple jobs during the same work hours and just not telling any of your bosses you’re working 2-3 other jobs.
That’s how i distinguish them anyway 🤷♂️
Did you hear about how the tech industry had a mass layoff last week? … of 1 guy.
- Comment on Trying to decipher this ancient text. Anyone know this language? 5 weeks ago:
On the offchance you’re being serious it’s a mix of cursive and normal writing.
It basically says that they decided to write the old fashioned way and they received the save the date but are saying they can’t attend. They immediately say that they realized they weren’t living their life for God to the fullest extent and that they are trying to do better. Then the whole bottom half of the the letter is more religious talk to say that they don’t approve of the addressee marrying outside of the catholic church and that while they (claim to) understand they cannot support it and won’t be attending.

Literally the second paragraph.
As originally reported by South Korean tech site The Elec, staff have each received a previously arranged 10 million won bonus (about £5400) early, alongside two weeks’ paid holiday. This is on top of South Korea’s mandatory 15 days paid holiday for employees that have been with a company for more than a year.
Can we not do that annoying reddit thing where people don’t even bother trying to read the article?
- Comment on What's the e-reader you would buy if you were in the market? 1 month ago:
I have a Kobo. My wife has kindle. Kindle is better if you want kindle unlimited. Kobo is better for everything else as far as I’m concerned. Especially if you want to sideload your own books via calibre or just dropping them onto the device when plugged into your computer. My kobo hooks up directly with overdrive/libby for borrowing books from the library and does everything i need it to.
I don’t have a specific model to recommend though. Mine is nearing 8-10 years old and still working
- Comment on Salt Lake City, plans to implement AI-assisted 911 call triaging to handle ~30% of about 450K non-emergency calls per year 1 month ago:
Kehoe countered that the AI system would interact only with nonemergency callers and that emergency calls to 911 would be routed only to human dispatchers. In fact, she added, “on nonemergency calls, it might detect those elevated stress levels [for callers] and it will automatically default going to a human being as well.”
Are nonemergency calls coming in through a separate number or are they still coming in through the 911 number? I thought nonemergency calls come through a separate number but i only see references to 911 in this article. So which is it? If you call 911 and get an AI then that’s terrible. If this is for a dedicated nonemergency line then this sounds great.

I grew up house poor, and one of our closest family friends was very wealthy. I never quite got a gift that expensive but it did happen. Frequently got gifts that were $200 or more which is more than we could’ve returned. One year i got a gaming console and a bunch of games. That was my first console at a time my dad was unemployed for over a year.
If it bothered my parents, they never said anything. I do think if i had to return some of those gifts i would’ve been resentful. Not all people give gifts and expect the same monetary value in return. In fact that is part of the point for them because it is a gift that someone wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. I try to do gifts like that too except I’m not rich so i try to guess what something they need but don’t know about. Both can serve the same purpose of getting a gift that they wouldn’t have gotten themselves by removing a barrier (cost in one case, research on the other).
You have already asked the parents, the parents are cool with it, sons friend is cool with it, and your son is cool with it. I think you should be cool with it too. I do think this will make giving gifts to this friend difficult, so you’ll need to have your son lean in that second category. Or if sons friend is self aware about money he won’t be asking for $1k+ gifts from friendsq

(Mormons)
Btw from fact there was a multi million dollar marketing campaign to promote the usage of “Mormon”. They had giant ads in big cities, had a stupid website for members to fill out a “i am Mormon” profile to share to people, etc.
Then a new prophet came along and it’s the funniest thing. God suddenly changed his mind and said no we don’t want to use the word “Mormon”. Truly divine inspiration! 🙌
