That’s what happens when the left goes full divestment from and demonization of guns for multiple decades. Even Marx knew it was a dumb idea, but saying “hell yes we are coming for your AR-15s and AK-47s” was just too tempting. The far right gun nuts are going authoritarian and the centrists are still hoping this doesn’t end in a shooting (civil) war.

What would happen? Your house and at least five other houses around it would be riddled with so much lead that it would be declared a hazmat site. They would then “find” 40 bags of cocaine on property. Each bag would be found by a different officer and oddly not one of them will have been hit by a bullet. 112 random weapons will be found on your property, often in the exact same place that the cocaine was found, but by completely different officers at different times.
