Who was overridden by the majority red legislature. The governor can sometimes be from the minority party, but that doesn’t really matter when all they’re doing is either vetoing or begging the opposite party to do what they want.

This is Kansas, one of the hard red states. It’s moving to purple, but as of now, it’s fairly red.

In the age of no-new-IP, why does it take so long for new games to come out…

I just cannot see how there’s any complexity to it. Compared to league, what’s the point if you can just hit square to win?
- Comment on Why didn't the mother just use her private doctor on her yacht? 2 weeks ago:
Last I checked near me, these guardrails exist, but I’m sure in some red state they’re allowed to garnish wages for medical debt with no restrictions.

After watching some playthroughs, I can comfortably say that this game is awful. That said, I don’t like 2D fighters, but this would absolutely not make me want to play one.
The queue-room idea was pretty cool as a concept though.

I buy the card with the highest benchmark scores. It’s not a political green vs red choice.

The procedure literally deletes the most sensitive nerve endings in the penis. Best case scenario is that the boy is left with the sensitivity of an intact penis with the foreskin pulled back and 2 condoms put on. Many many guys end up with less sensitivity than that if their frenulum is removed (the banjo string; the most sensitive area).

This needs to go the way of foot binding. It’s such an evil practice.

A 5.5” screen is way too small to be worth it. If this costs more than an a iPad + iPhone Pro, this thing is gonna flop more than the Vision Pro did.
- Comment on Spotify Music Library Scraped by Pirate Activist Group 2 months ago:
Anything you post online should be considered permanently online. It’s really outdated to think exclusive ownership is possible online. The way I think about it is that anything I put online is for everyone, good or bad, and not for profit.

The number one concern with a NAS is the power draw. I can’t think of many systems that run under 30W.

Human subjects are crazy to work with for a few reasons
- People don’t follow instructions perfectly
- Research subjects often don’t take the research project very seriously.
- It’s not uncommon to have dropouts, thus you either have to find more subjects or have less data.
- It’s impossible to know what the subjects are doing to cause data variability (diet, vices, etc)
- You can’t lock subjects in a room and force them to eat and drink the same food every day.
Laboratory mice literally live 5 to a cage with almost no diet variability, in a controlled environment. Yes shit does happen with research mice, but it’s something that is easy to control overall.

You can’t go after the server diary without those streamers publicizing the takedowns. The better choice is to hit streamers then nuke the servers once people forget about the game.

Over a decade in and I haven’t internalized the text selection and cursor movement differences TBH. You can rebind the system key combos though if it really bothers you that much. I’m just not really using the keyboard as much anymore now that I use a trackpad for everything.

It’s really sad that it’s the only major operating system that functions on API calls for UI elements. Part of what makes windows awful is the terrible UI inconsistencies between apps. 3rd party app can’t hook into the system or each other easily because there are so few shared APIs. It’s crazy that macOS has the best utility apps all because of the shared API library and that the other operating systems don’t want to copy or unify with them.
