- Comment on The Vatican randomly dropped their new anime mascot and it is polarizing the internet 2 weeks ago:
Yep, I can’t believe it is (according to the article) kind of working for some people. It’s just a mascot for one of the most powerful religious organizations that’s ever existed.
You don’t get to be cute now to appeal to the kids. To me, this is blue raspberry flavored cigarettes, just as calculated and insidious.
- Comment on Elon's Death Machine (aka Tesla) Mows Down Deer at Full Speed , Keeps Going on "Autopilot" 2 weeks ago:
A self-driving vehicle is not exclusive to Elon.
I prefer electric cars over gas ones, and think that at some point computer controlled transportation will be more reliable than the average human driver. These aren’t endorsements of any person or company.
Why are you wrapping this up so much with the one dude?
Its like saying that you can’t endorse online shopping unless you also like Bezos.
- Comment on Ads 2 weeks ago:
I had a similar experience on my YouTube TV app, I was watching old history channels in bed, and there was a full length documentary for an “ad”. I could have skipped after 15 seconds or whatever, but I had to INTERACT with the TV before it would resume. I was distracted so it ended up playing like 15 minutes of an hour+ documentary ad.
- Comment on Instagram makes all teen accounts private - npr 1 month ago:
I’m also in the second camp. Plus, censoring the bad words on specific users is a few too many steps closer to don’t say gay on the internet. Is ass ok but not fuck? Is sex talk forbidden? All mention of anatomy, including general questions about health? How about they ban anti-capitalist language too? The tiktok language phenomenon shows that users will absolutely just make do getting around communication bans, “unalive” and “le$beans” being the most popular. This type of censorship has already happened on other platforms, and it’s all bullshit and useless.
- Comment on If you bought a 3D printer for personal use, was it worth it? 2 months ago:
I wouldn’t buy a printer to try and be profitable per say, I would buy one for the things you cant/don’t want to buy. If you can use some 3d modeling software, you can begin to solve problems for almost no money.
Stuff like a vape holder and extended cup holder for my partners car, or a couple little shelf brackets for our IKEA cubes, or replacement closet rod supports. It takes a few minutes in CAD, a couple hours or printing, and 15¢ of plastic, and saves a trip to the store. Making custom, exactly how you want stuff is really nice.
Knick nacks are fun too, but ultimately your house will fill with things you don’t particularly want or use.
- Comment on well if you look at it that way 3 months ago:
It may be stretched or something but there are 16 marks in between the inch marks, it’s not like they skipped counting a line.
- Comment on Oregonian driving 3 months ago:
Yeah but I’m doing 64 in a 55, passing the person doing 58 in the right lane and someone comes up behind me doing 75, acting like I’m impeding the flow of traffic.
It takes a little while to pass someone without wildly breaking the law.
- Comment on The best ending in manga history 3 months ago:
Please look up some popular manga and pick from that. This is (fine and popular) horny highschool will-they-wont-they trash.
You are probably wanting something more mature in general, and romance stuff in particular, than what most of the fan base wants.
If you like “daily romance” as a genre, “Kowloon Generic Romance” is one I enjoyed.

Or turn off the monitor and bounce lol. If you don’t have employees to fix things, systems are hilariously easy to break.
- Comment on Are there any good casual/low-stress mobile games that aren't filled with microtransactions? 4 months ago:
“0h h1” is a fun, easy logic puzzle game that I find myself going back to when I have a minute to kill.
- Comment on I miss console ads being this weird 4 months ago:
The ad is saying PlayStation is as good as drugs? I’m assuming that the little tabs are supposed to be exctacy or something.
- Comment on GOG Summer Sale 2024 is live with thousands of discounts 4 months ago:
Looks like kingdom come deliverance and Witcher 3 are on sale, the “game of the year” editions. Both are good, though Kingdom Come is a bit more of a specific taste.
