- Comment on Are AI Models Advanced Enough To Translate Literature? The Debate Is Roiling Publishing: Major publishers are experimenting with automated translations, hundreds of which have already been produced. 1 day ago:
A lot of technical documentation is translated automatically. I’m German, so most sites will give me the German translation. And more often than not, I struggle to understand even the basics of what they talk about. Until I switch to English, the original language.

- Comment on The Enshittification of 3D Printers – Are We Losing What Made Them Great? 1 week ago:
If you want to, you can still have a completely open-source printer. You can even build one yourself with some expertise needed. I guess the enshitification is part of the wider audience those manufacturers seek. It wouldn’t be necessary, but it seems this is the way they go.

- Comment on How the fuck do I find out where and when all these protests and rallies are happening? 1 week ago:
In my case it was some idiots protesting against vaccination mandates (which aren’t around anymore) and a lot of people giving them hell. That sounded like fun.
- Comment on How the fuck do I find out where and when all these protests and rallies are happening? 1 week ago:
I was wondering the same about my city today, because there seem to have been two protests, but I didn’t realize until afterwards. Different county/protests though.

Yes, that’s the marketing team.

I’m sorry. I didn’t want to make it sound as if I think they are competent. I really do not.
- Comment on DOGE Is Replacing Fired Workers With a Chatbot 3 weeks ago:
The only positions in my company you could easily replace with AI would be marketing, I guess. And they are the ones using it the most anyway. Maybe middle management, besides stressing everyone and creating fancy slideshows, I don’t see much value in them.

They’re 16 and in school. Even if they’re married, let them just have some time for themselves and to grow into their lives. Even if, it doesn’t sound as if it was worth it.

I totally agree, but it doesn’t sound as if they had the financial means to cut them out yet.

You should really send a video of your floor. The pup has to be visible. I’m really sorry. It’s the only way the floor can be saved 😂

I love the style. Finally they’re breaking their idiotic EV styling they came up with years ago. The ID.3 is just plain ugly.

I have been attacked by some idiot, and I have to admit it felt good to pin him to the ground after I escaped his chokehold (by punching his nose behind my back). I would like to test if this feeling could be replicated with your fantasies.

I managed to get my mails through 95% of servers I’ve tried, and after evaluating the 5% that didn’t accept my mail, I just realized they can suck my man-tits. But maybe those 5% in your case might be recipients you value.
