I tried kb&m for Witcher 3 for about 5 minutes. It was miserable.

No smell has ever elevated when I near an ant colony, and I see wild ant colonies all the time. So I’m pretty sure I can’t.

Apparently he did, according to this article, and his incredibly unfathomably misguided belief that LLMs can philosophize and have original thought.
- Comment on CEO of Palantir Says AI Means You’ll Have to Work With Your Hands Like a Peasant 1 week ago:
This guy has absolutely no understanding of humanities studies like philosophy and original or creative thought, or how AI works if he thinks those are the fields being threatened. If anything, I’d say his job is more at risk. Maybe librarians.

- Comment on Gaming market melts down after Google reveals new AI game design tool — Project Genie crashes stocks. (A.K.A . Investors panic because they don't understand what "real" videogames are) 2 weeks ago:
Why does Google keep trying to make AI, when they’re soooo bad at it, and pretty much everything else they do?
- Comment on The people like AI because they treat it like a search engine. 2 weeks ago:
Yes and no. It sometimes kind of tries to extrapolate from lots of sources and just gives you a few of them that don’t really give an answer.
- Comment on The people like AI because they treat it like a search engine. 2 weeks ago:
They do. But their LLM in my experience really isn’t very good. If ChatGPT is like a B+ student, Google’s is the special Ed kid in a helmet.
- Comment on The people like AI because they treat it like a search engine. 2 weeks ago:
But you’re asking it an abstract idea that most people probably wouldn’t agree on.
- Comment on The people like AI because they treat it like a search engine. 2 weeks ago:
Well, Search engines have become nearly useless even with proper phrasing, so yeah I do often just let AI dig through it for me.
- Comment on Apple to Soon Take Up to 30% Cut From All Patreon Creators in iOS App 2 weeks ago:
Right, but Valve is actually providing the service and infrastructure. Apple is not.
- Comment on Apple to Soon Take Up to 30% Cut From All Patreon Creators in iOS App 2 weeks ago:
It’s a little different though. Valve is providing the actual platform, and running it. Apple doesn’t own Patreon, they simply host a client.

Meh. I got banned just for saying something about stabbing Donald Trump in the neck and watching him bleed out before alerting the staff of the Urgent Care I was waiting all day in. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- Comment on Why do we have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash soaps? 5 weeks ago:
Or their hair is straight, and don’t understand frizzy conditioner-free hair. I’m a dude. My hair is not particularly long. I still like it to form locks, and not a cumulus cloud.
- Comment on Why do we have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash soaps? 5 weeks ago:
It’s not about glossiness. I’m guessing you don’t have frizzy hair, but it removes that, and allows hair to clump into locks, instead of a big cloud. If you have straight hair, then yes, the main benefit is being shinier.
- Comment on 'Microslop' is heading for Edge – major browser redesign is inspired by Copilot, and it's already seriously unpopular 5 weeks ago:
I’ve been using my Steam Deck as my PC, which is Arch Linux. Blender’s only issue for my casual use is that GPU rendering isn’t supported, so for any big rendering job, cloud would be necessary. Otherwise, a more powerful machine would be better, but as for the OS, it’s totally fine. Adobe is another issue, though.

My use of Edge is pretty much only for opening PDFs.
