I uninstalled Libre for OnlyOffice when it was impossible to get a normal full-sized scroll bar. Haven’t looked back.

I’m sorry.

Libra is terrible, too. Download OnlyOffice.
- Comment on What's the best free version of word? 2 days ago:
Libre Office is trash, too. OnlyOffice is far better.

Well, actual users and niche communities that get more than 3 responses max might be one thing it offers.

Meh. I got banned just for saying something about stabbing Donald Trump in the neck and watching him bleed out before alerting the staff of the Urgent Care I was waiting all day in. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- Comment on Why do we have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash soaps? 2 weeks ago:
Or their hair is straight, and don’t understand frizzy conditioner-free hair. I’m a dude. My hair is not particularly long. I still like it to form locks, and not a cumulus cloud.
- Comment on Why do we have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash soaps? 2 weeks ago:
It’s not about glossiness. I’m guessing you don’t have frizzy hair, but it removes that, and allows hair to clump into locks, instead of a big cloud. If you have straight hair, then yes, the main benefit is being shinier.
- Comment on 'Microslop' is heading for Edge – major browser redesign is inspired by Copilot, and it's already seriously unpopular 3 weeks ago:
I’ve been using my Steam Deck as my PC, which is Arch Linux. Blender’s only issue for my casual use is that GPU rendering isn’t supported, so for any big rendering job, cloud would be necessary. Otherwise, a more powerful machine would be better, but as for the OS, it’s totally fine. Adobe is another issue, though.

My use of Edge is pretty much only for opening PDFs.

What? I thought this was a non-fantasy medieval game.
- Comment on 3 weeks ago:
… seriously? So then they’ve fixed that combat with multiple people? Because that, in the first game was absolutely atrocious.

I have never owned a phone where the USB port remains functional.
- Comment on Pizza is a tomato pie. 3 weeks ago:
How else would you refer to a whole pizza? That’s almost always called a pie in my experience, even though people don’t say “a pizza pie” so much.
- Comment on Is there a point we can track down when we stopped caring about doctors, nurses, teacher, etc? And thought it was a great idea to pay atheletes millions and screw everyone else? 4 weeks ago:
Artists contribute to society. Arguably, the great painters, writers, and musicians should regularly be paid more than athletes and movie and radio pop stars.

The Steam Deck. It’s been my daily PC since I got it.

Adobe.
- Comment on AI-generated code contains more bugs and errors than human output 5 weeks ago:
I’m not a programmer, but I’ve dabbled with Blender for 3D modeling, and it uses Node trees for a lot of different things, which is pretty much a programming GUI. I googled how to make a shader, and the AI gave me instructions. About half of it was complete nonsense, but I did make my shader.
- Comment on Indie Game Awards Disqualifies Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Due To Gen AI Usage 5 weeks ago:
Yes, a few textures. And how is that different from a procedural texture, also made by computer algorithms? And seriously, who gives a fuck if some brick texture is not handmade?
- Comment on Indie Game Awards Disqualifies Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Due To Gen AI Usage 5 weeks ago:
It is fine, and why should there be a disclosure when it’s not in the final product? Why would anyone real care? How does it affect anything?
- Comment on Half-Life 3 Reportedly Delayed Due to Steam Machine Price, Leak Claims 5 weeks ago:
Game is delayed because they couldn’t tell people about it on a stage. This sounds logical.
- Comment on Half-Life 3 Reportedly Delayed Due to Steam Machine Price, Leak Claims 5 weeks ago:
It is kind of funny how the title says one thing, and then the very next sentence says loljk, just the announcement, which has obviously zero things in common with development.

I fucking hate fennel, but I couldn’t possibly be more indifferent to celery. Ive never even considered it to have much taste. Fennel and licorice, though? VILE.
- Comment on Why does everyone put celery in soup stock? 1 month ago:
I’m learning today celery has an actual flavor…and I’m perfectly aware of mirepoix.

- Comment on Refried beans is just Latino hummus 1 month ago:
Pans are often called frying pans. Pan fried is just a bit of oil in a flat pan. Deep fried is submerged like French fries or fried chicken.
- Comment on Refried beans is just Latino hummus 1 month ago:
They’re pan fried, sometimes with lard. They’re not really fried twice, I know that.
