  When the only difference in difficulty is either by adding more waves of enemies, or giving bosses a bajillion hitpoints.

  If I already learned all the game mechanics, and the only scaling is having to repeat them a lot more, that’s poor design.

  I dont mean this as much for adjustable difficulty, like easy vs hard mode, but rather in game progression…

  I had looked into Kobo, but ultimately Boox won out. Zero proprietary ecosystem, so I can use Calibre to manage everything.

  I need to do a bit more work, but totally worth it to be completely DRM free

  Those boxes have heat issues, are not at all user-servicable, and really are only designed as a web browser box.

  Great for media players / HTPCs, attrpcious for trying to game on.

  Buy a 5 year old gaming system

They made a post stating “People on Lemmy will upvote anything.” With a pic of Heinz baked beans. It became, at the time, the most upvoted post on all of Lemmy. Hence, Lemmy has always upvoted beans…
