- Comment on I rented a Tesla for a month. It was a steep learning curve 1 year ago:
Sure, but a lot of people also don’t even put a bare minimal effort into learning new, very basic things.
I KNOW this because I used to work IT help desk.
- Comment on Apple Suspends Deals With Producers, Including Natalie Portman & Adam McKay 1 year ago:
I’m going to sit and watch some bullshit AI generated drivel they are sorely mistaken.
I mean, people literally praise movies that have worse stories than what AI can write, so yeah movie studios aren’t going to lose that battle.

- Comment on Apple's new iPhone 15 is an underwhelming 'slap in the face,' say disappointed fans 1 year ago:
Not an apple fanboy, but your crying is just as annoying. People have no idea there’s such a thing as being anti-apple to the point of just being just as annoying as the apple fanboy.
- Comment on Contrary to rumors, the iPhone 15 has a standard, by-the-book USB-C port 1 year ago:
Stay mad, scrub. USB-C won and you lost.
- Comment on One of the absolute best features of lemmy is that everyone is simply allowed to post. 1 year ago:
I always loved how /r/blackpeopletwitter only allowed black people to post in that sub, because that’s not racism.
Also, they verified users just by asking them to send a photo of their skin, like people couldn’t just find a random picture online. Truly the dumbest sub in existence.

Seems like you care just as much as the people who do buy it for bragging rights.
- Comment on Apple users bash new iPhone 15: ‘Innovation died with Steve Jobs’ 1 year ago:
It was not revolutionary in the sense of technology, it was revolutionary in the sense of getting the general public to understand and accept the idea of a smartphone.
Translation: “I blindly hate Apple and I have no idea what I’m talking about.”
- Comment on Apple users bash new iPhone 15: ‘Innovation died with Steve Jobs’ 1 year ago:
Steve Jobs didn’t innovate a thing in his life.
That is absolute bullshit. Sure he was an asshole to his co-workers and even his family, but I’m so tired of this false narrative that acts like Jobs is completely overrated.
Apple has always been stealing tech and pretending that they created it.
Yeah remember when they stole the click wheel concept from…oh wait they didn’t steal that. Remember when they stole MacOS from…oh wait…they didn’t do that either.
Stop being an armchair expert on something you have zero clue about. JFC.

- Comment on Apple Announces iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus With USB-C Port, Dynamic Island, Frosted Glass Design 1 year ago:
It’s been a long time coming on the phone, but people acting like Apple wasn’t a major player in the USB consortiums push to get type C standardized for everything is always fun.
Yeah no, no one is acting that way. We’re all well aware of Apple’s USB-C only push on the other devices, we’re referring to the phones. I can’t believe this has to be said.

- Comment on iPhone 15's USB-C Port Remains Limited to Lightning Speeds 1 year ago:
I would hate plugging my phone into my computer even if it were instant.
Yeah, why would you love doing something that takes literally only two seconds to do? So stupid.

- Comment on IGN | Rotten Tomatoes Under Fire After PR Firm's Scheme to Pay Critics for Positive Reviews Uncovered 1 year ago:
The MCU having as many good scores as it does is the biggest giveaway that RT is influenced by money or connections. Like there’s no way in hell the MCU has THAT many good movies when most of them are boring AF.

As an Asian/Taiwanese, I do not understand why Hexbearians feel the need to point out what’s racist for us.
Exactly. There was a dumbfuck HexBear user yesterday that was trying to conflate criticism of the CCP as sinophobia.
