Man I do too, but ig you took out the need to work for money I like coding and I’d probably make a game instead of just play one. The problem with our society is we’re all forced to do crappy Jon’s that we don’t want to do just to male ends meet, so of course we don’t want to work til we drop dead, but for a minority they love what they do and want to keep doing it.

Well the key was that these people seem to love their jobs. I’m sure if you loved your job you wouldn’t want to stop either.
- Comment on How’s the progress of (insert retro game title) going? 4 months ago:
Playing classic rpg series in order, currently on dragon quest 6, Persona 1, smt 3 (modern remake just released on pc, but played mt1, mt2, smt1, smt2, and smt if prior to starting this and persona) made it to romancing saga after playing the 3 final fantasy legends, on tales of destiny remake for the ps2 after playing tales of phantasia, ys 2, Wild arms alter code f ps2 remake, FFX hd remaster, kingdom hearts, and lastly thr non rpg doom 2 from the doom 3 bfg collection after beating doom 1. Yes I am bouncing between all of these. The ADHD cannot be pleased

You didn’t build a garden in bejeweled. I said original match 3 and build. I was playing bejeweled on a flip phone. Didn’t know about shariki.

Gardenscapes is the original match 3 and build a mansion and is still my favorite. There are micro transactions to get additional power ups, but the fact that they are constantly updating with new seasonal events and you never run out of levels

Doesn’t that mean games like Genshin Impact and Honkai by Chinese companies like HoYo will be banned then too in the states?

Going to my step dads house when my mom first started dating him and playing Pitfall on his Colecovision in the late 80’s. I was 3.
- Comment on What's your favorite game that you will NEVER finish? 10 months ago:
Yeah. How I am with it. Spend so much time modding that I never actually get around to playing it. Add that to thr mod that makes every building have an interior and suddenly even when I do play it it takes forever to get anywhere
- Comment on What's your favorite game that you will NEVER finish? 10 months ago:
I never started episode 2. I knew that was the end and just… never played it to keep things non definitive
- Comment on Steam Deck OLED announced 1 year ago:
#1 seller for me is the fact that thr numbers are better replaceable cause they’re attached to the joystick board not the button board. That was the ibiggest pain for me cause when they stopped working on my first deck I had to send it in, and they gave me a new one wiping out all the software customizing I had done. I can feel the bumper going on my current deck a few months ago, it only works if you press it a certain way and one small jostle could make it stop entirely again and I’ll need to RMA AGAIN.
- Comment on Immune to marketing 1 year ago:
Certainly when I was younger that was absolutely the case. I like to think now that I’m older I’m a little more of a free thinker. But ads? Specifically targeted ads? I don’t stand a chance. If I see a game on sale that I’m mildly interested in or a new D&D source book that sounds cool I will buy it without regard for if I need that money for something else.

Ff14 is the reason my Backlog got as bad as it did. My plan was to quit after end walker but instead I never even finished the story and I hate myself for it cause I played since 1.0, but every time I go back I just keep thinking of every other game I could be playing instead and don’t wind up playing more than an hour.
- Comment on Monthly Recommendations Thread: What are you playing? 1 year ago:
When I’m not playing baldurs gate 3, I’m stopping in on baldurs gate 1 which I didn’t play back in the day(I only had 2), The original kingdom hearts, a second playthrough of final fantasy remake in anticipation of rebirth, outer worlds, midnight Suns, guardians of the Galaxy, star ocean the last hope, and thr ever present vampire Survivors and Binding of Isaac. I’ve been hopping games frequently recently.

I apply to a lot of online contests and most have me ‘retweet’ the contest submission link or follow people on the platform. That is literally all I use it for.
