I was trying to tell a VERY brief story of 50 years of protest that did not change anything. But I agree, this topic is too complex for a random internet fight not even in my native language. You are the one throwing around insults, I am not awful.
- Comment on Climate activists glue themselves to Munich airport runway 5 months ago:
These people ruin their (financial) lifes to protest for your future. Everything else failed, so they desperately try something more risky and you dare to call them fucking stupid.
- Comment on Climate activists glue themselves to Munich airport runway 5 months ago:
This is peak entitlement
- Comment on Climate activists glue themselves to Munich airport runway 5 months ago:
No it’s not. If there was a right way to protest everyone would do it. But protest is always messy, some people will hate you, some will applaude you, no matter what you do. So choose something and try it. Or sit on the couch and comment on the internet like you are not part of the collapse thats coming.

Wow, this text ticked like half of the Vegan Bullshit Bingo
- Comment on [Serious] Why do so many people seem to hate veganism? 6 months ago:
Yeah, I’m surprised how many comments are not even trying to understand anything. Feels like talking to an army of 12 yearolds

Were you raised vegan from birth? Are you still vegan? Asking out of curiosity.

Become a good one then!

I get what you are saying and I agree with “thats not for me”. The difference to other personal preferences is that as a carnist, you are paying for literaly billions of our fellow earthlings being killed on an industrial scale. So many that it’s destroying our livelihood. So this is not a personal choice anymore, there are victims you do not notice, human and non-human. A lot of victims, 1.9 Million chickens killed in Germany every day.
Once you realise this and you have had the courage to really look beyond the word slaughter with your own eyes, see the inconceivable suffering, this becomes something I can not push out of my sight anymore. And then you realise it’s everywhere. So what to you do? - Comment on [Serious] Why do so many people seem to hate veganism? 6 months ago:
Your idiology has a name and it’s called Carnism
- Comment on [Serious] Why do so many people seem to hate veganism? 6 months ago:
You’re not the victim. You’re not the one who’s throat is being cut. You’re the one paying for it to happen, because you like a taste and they don’t have a voice so they can’t fight back.
- Comment on Remember when the body washes contained literal micro plastics and were advertised as such? 6 months ago:
There’s still shampoo with silicone as an ingedient, so your hair feels silky smooth. Because it wraps every single hair in invisible microplastic.

I wish you and your children the best and hope you’re wrong, that our path is not that determined yet.
- Comment on Elon Tusk 8 months ago:
I know all of this! I just refuse to lay down and give up like a rabbit in the headlights. We’re not hungry, not cold, not in survival-mode, yet. We’re still the lucky ones, so let’s live up to that. You can cry when our time has actually come.
- Comment on Elon Tusk 8 months ago:
Well, it doesn’t look good, I absolutely agree. But still, you’re no fortune teller and world history is full of plot twists. Christianity went from a strange little hippie-cult to a world religion in no time, and noone saw that coming. Germany reuniting? Not in a 1000 years, said everyone a year before it actually happened. I’m too lazy to find more examples, because this is not my native language. You get my point: We don’t know! Let veganism conquer the world! Telling your children we’re doomed feels so desperate and grim. But there is always hope. I’m not doomed at this very moment, so let’s do something! Grow a tomato, hug your child, talke a walk, punch a fascist, blow up a pipeline. :)

- Comment on Should I buy a Fairphone? If not, what SHOULD I buy and why? 10 months ago:
I strictly use <100€ second hand phones and I love it. I flash LineageOS with MicroG and don’t use Google at all. But if you need to, go ahead and add it.
To me, the Fairphone feels more like a status symbol, it’s a cool but expensive conversation starter. But why buy new stuff when there’s already an infinite number of cheap used phones available?
I’m using a Pixel 3a now, Galaxy A5 (2017) before that. Life is good 3 generations down the road. - Comment on The average car purchased in 2023 emits higher levels of carbon dioxide (CO₂) than its 2013 equivalent. I just learned about the Tyre Extinguishers. They use lentils to depress the pin on the valve cap of an SUV’s tyre, so that the tyre deflates without getting damaged. It’s super effective and it’s not a crime. They are called the Tyre Extinguishers.

If you’d impregnate a woman without her consent, take away her baby and then her milk to drink and make delicous cheese of you’d go to jail. If you do that to a different mammal you don’t, yet. Because specisim. We do whatever the fuck we want with them. They’re just cows.

I don’t really get your point. What do you want to say and do you have a source?

You didn’t quote my whole sentence. Lifestock was the word I was looking for when I said “cattle, pigs and chicken”.
