Ah yes, my comment openly states I hate steam because it isn’t perfect. It’s definitely written in there.

Digital refunds isn’t them being good, it’s them getting sued by Australia.
- Comment on Your 4G phone could be impacted by 3G shutdowns this year. Here's what to know 8 months ago:
Seems like a lot of work to make VoLTE work on your phone. I have a budget Chinese phone from like 5 years ago and all I did was type in a code on the caller part and instantly got VoLTE without any interaction with my carrier (Vodafone) or any downsides at all.
- Comment on Physical or Digital? 8 months ago:
Digital, haven’t had a working disk drive in like 10 years, two laptops ago was broken, previous and current laptop just don’t come with one.
- Comment on Bartender Qualifications 9 months ago:
Shit I want that, my work breaks if I scan two items in one second

It could be less wordy, it isn’t perfect. I have definitely run into ones that require going through multiple layers of settings though, so this just seems a lot less bullshit than that.
Looking at the image again, default to not sharing while calling that ‘on’ and being slightly awkward is definitely not an accident and is probably designed to trick people paying no attention at all.

I mean, isn’t that the better way of doing it? One popup, exains everything, gives you the option to opt out in that popup instead of going through settings and shit.

Still exists in cardboard form, not entirely sure why people wouldn’t know what this is at basically any age, unless they buy no bread products?

Hah, a line a burger king.
- Comment on MSI CLAW gaming handheld leaked, features Intel Core Ultra 7 155H with Arc graphics and 32GB memory 10 months ago:
Arc is good at newer games, however a handheld is more likely than most devices to play older games so maybe not the best choice.
- Comment on What's your favorite game that you will NEVER finish? 10 months ago:
I have an i9 13900, so uh, it isn’t exactly a mid tier CPU.
Stellaris just can’t have a full, long game without eating shit at the end frame wise.
- Comment on What's your favorite game that you will NEVER finish? 10 months ago:
I have one of the fastest, most powerful laptops that exist, and the last century or so of stellaris brings it to a crawl.
Bg3 at 4k ultra settings? 144fps. Stellaris? There are some entire seconds without a new frame.
- Comment on The EU common charger : USB-C 10 months ago:
I mean, I would hope literally any phone on the market could survive rain.
- Comment on Why would I want to use the multi-desktop functionality in Windows 11? 11 months ago:
I have task manager forced front, so even if my game shits the bed the task manager will always appear in front of it.
- Comment on Inside the 'arms race' between YouTube and ad blockers / Against all odds, open source hackers keep outfoxing one of the wealthiest companies. 11 months ago:
Against all odds? This is a game that’s been going on for year, hacker vs Corp, and the hacker always wins. Same shit as anticheat in games, it’s a constant arms race but the hacker is nearly always a step ahead.
- Comment on YouTube Premium family plan price update ($17.99/month -> $32.99/month!) 1 year ago:
I mean, 6+ hours of video a day without ads, while actually supporting the creators I watch. I watch enough people I can’t afford to give them all money on patreon or buy merch. I have youtube running like 50% of the time I’m home and awake, and after a decade of using ad block (because honestly, fuck ads), I figured it was about time I started paying for it.
There is an amount that I’ll think is too much and I’ll go back to my old ways, but I have a minimum wage job in a country where that means something so the fqct I’m now paying $17 a month instead of whatever it was before, like 13 I think, I’m not too bothered.
I also don’t pay for other subscriptions because what youtube has is just better. Like cool, Netflix has movies and shit, but similar exists on youtube and a lot of creators make better content for me than most of what’s on Netflix.
- Comment on YouTube Premium family plan price update ($17.99/month -> $32.99/month!) 1 year ago:
I watch like six+ hours of YouTube a day, even if it’s on the side of a game or something, feel like I’m getting my moneys worth.
- Comment on What games have you been playing recently 1 year ago:
Baldurs Gate 3, Trackmania, Grid Legends and Old School Runescape.
- Comment on Epic Games to update Unreal Engine pricing for devs not making games 1 year ago:
Doesn’t appear so, it seems pretty minor and doesn’t retroactively fuck people over.
- Comment on Are there any reputable independent gaming sites left? 1 year ago:
SkillUp is great, I have a bunch of new games specifically because of him.
- Comment on Microsoft Nintendo acquisition hopes revealed by leaked Xbox exec email 1 year ago:
Valve isn’t any more likely than Nintendo, given you can’t buy shares because there are none, and it’s a money printing machine that would have a truly absurd value.
- Comment on For those with larger phones, how do you handle them without grip accessories? 1 year ago:
My right hand can read like 60% of the screen easily so I just touch the bottom half and read the top half.
I do swipe back a page a lot though, because my thumb moves in an arc and my phone often thingks that means I’m swiping sideways instead of vertical.
- Comment on Starfield Review - Buy, Wait, Never touch 1 year ago:
Gotta make sure the arrows still exist at distance though, unlike skyrim where you can put an arrow through someone and do 0 damage because you were slightly too far away.
- Comment on Where do you get your gaming news? 1 year ago:
Skill up has a weekly show about what’s coming up, what’s come out, and a bunch of indie games. He’s on break for a month at the moment, but it’s good content and has got me to buy a few good games.
Game linked is another channel from Linus Tech Tips that is focused on gaming and I have faith they do their research properly.
Gameranx is also quite good.
All of these are YouTube channels.
