Tagging onto this. Has anyone tried to play Glover recently? That used to be one of my favorites as a kid and I keep thinking about emulating it.

Yeehaw! In 2025 I’m going to defeat my personal demons with a fucking flourish and get yolked as hell doing it.

The Spell Brigade. It’s unfortunately early access, but it’s an up-to-4 player co-op Survivors-type game. I love Vampire Survivors so of course I wanna play co-op. I’ve been having a bunch of fun with it, both with friends and without.

I also wanted to mention Fields of Mistria. I don’t really like Stardew Valley very much, but this one is really pulling me in for whatever reason. It’s still early access, but it’s got a bunch of QoL improvements from Stardew and the characters are really fun.

Just picked up a game called Hellcard that is basically co-op Slay the Spire. It’s a lot of fun and the look of the game is really unique, I think. I really love StS so being able to co-op basically the same thing is a ton of fun.

Nice! Thanks for the depth. I think with the level adjustments especially, it sounds like I would enjoy it. Thanks!

For someone who doesn’t like the typical pokemon grind, would you recommend this one?
- Comment on What is your favorite Halloween older game? 2 months ago:
I’m not sure how old old is, but SOMA is always such a delight to play through.
Another somewhat older game is Duskers where you control drones one empty human ships, trying to find out where humans went.

I was coming here to reply SSX 3 :)

I’ve had it for a while but finally it dug it’s claws in - Tunic!
Apparently this is a devisive little game. I absolutely adore it and think the combat difficulty is just about perfect while the puzzle solving and the exploration is masterclass levels of design. The show, don’t tell approach is used so perfectly here. Ah I love it

I love this game so much. It’s so chill but also blood boiling lol

I’ve been casually looking at the ioniqs - is anything in the interior intrusive? I have a problem with EVs having massive screens or way way too many buttons.

That’s what I came here to say as well. It’s so well done and it hits in such a profound way.
Have you read any of the short stories on the game’s website? I highly recommend it. Catherine’s is so sad and it really gives a ton of insight into what she went through.

What is it about the Long Dark that’s stuck with you?

I know it’s not the best recommendation, but my partner and I have matching tattoos on our ring fingers. It’s a symbol for something we both really really love and it’s delicate and sensible enough that no one looks twice. Even if we split, it’s not their name or anything and it’s still something that means a lot to me on its own and is vague enough to be something I’ll still enjoy

Not who you asked, but toward the end of a long drive, absolutely. White line fever becomes a huge risk for me, personally, after 5-6 hours.
