I dunno. I’d have to look it up to be certain but in the USA Japanese beetles looks awfully similar but are brutal and invasive pests. So if it’s the JB instead of the LB, you’ve gotta find a way to get rid of it.

Elmo please. Adorable, loved, is allowed to be grumpy sometimes, and gets to have a great theme song and good friends? Hell yeah

I recommend Mint for a beginner friendly stepping stone. Works right out of the box and is really easy to jump to from windows.
- Comment on Is it normal I feel embarrassed about being female sometimes because of feminine smells I don't want to be associated with? 1 week ago:
Bruh - I’m tomboy, was raised to out-compete other boys, and am gay as can be.
The only time there’s ever been a fishy smell that’s been noticable above clothing was from someone with an infection, which is usually caused by poor hygiene. Sometimes that smell can linger, especially in a washroom if their bits have been exposed.
The only other thing I can think of is if someone has been menstruating into a pad that’s overdue for a change? Blood and the whole mucus and others that come from a woman can give a pretty horrible scent. But that’s gotta be so rare, and again, usually coincides with poor hygiene practices.
Everyone has a different scent (and taste), but it’s so rare that unless you’re between another’s legs that you’ll smell it. Those jokes are in poor taste just like small dick jokes are. Men are just as capable of smelling awful down there, too. No one gender is particularly prone to stank more than the other.
So if you have at least okay hygiene practices and you’re not trying to paint the walls with your vagina, you’re fine.

Or some form of OCD like tendencies. Definitely not normal

As a GIS tech, there’s one missing - the keyboard next to an ultrawide. Optional normal monitor to the side :P
But yes, as a former weather forecaster, the 4 in a square is insane and unfortunately it was necessary on bad weather days. At one of my locations, we also had the PC hooked up to a television running behind us and had a separate real time data monitor to the side. So… Yeah.

One I haven’t seen yet is Unrailed. It’s a little bit of the chaos of overcooked, but not quite as stressful.

I would also love to point out that KLOP is the horse version and it’s really something.
But my favorite Foddy game has always been GIRP, which is a climbing game that’ll test your keyboard :3

Ok this might sound insane, but my dad had a razr I would borrow sometimes and the plastic had such a unique smell. And then I had a little moto glider that also had a super plasticky smell, but not as strong as the razr.
Seeing these icons gave me such a trip back to that era and that smell. I feel like I need to go change my shoes or something because I’ve stepped into another life.

I fully agree.
I bought like a $400-600 Costco mattress because one of my friends has one that’s super comfy. But it’s only been two ish years and I’m ready for something new.
To be fair, i think I did get my money’s worth.

I tried the VR mod a year or two ago and it was pretty good except for the way that the character moves does not compute to the way normal people move, so it was making me suuuper sick. The strafing in particular was bad.

Taking the average worker from 1998 and comparing their output to today’s workers would be insane. And then compare the pay? I feel like I’d probably be mad as hell.
I work in mapping and in the 90s, everything was hand drawn. In the 00s, things switched to CAD, and then by 2010 or so our department went to GIS. We’re still using that same GIS program today but held to so much more insane standards. If I don’t have 98% first-pass accuracy on my mapping and data input, I get a talking to. If I’m not putting out 50 jobs a month minimum, I’m getting a talking to.
Comparing any of this to what some of our older staff members did in the 90s is just insanity.

For Dispatch-likes, perhaps other Telltale games would interest you. The Wolf Among Us was really good if I remember correctly. And the Walking Dead games were… a lot, emotionally, but good stories, the first one especially.
But gosh there’s just so many games out there. Maybe a Breath of the Wild playthrough would be up your alley. A Hollowknight let’s play might be a bit boring, but I’m certain a lore video would be engaging. Thomas Was Alone - that’s an older game so I couldn’t tell you if there’s any good videos of it, but it’s great. Along similar ~old~ lines, BioShock games are good. And Dishonored in that same era/vein.
Killer Frequency might also be in the realm of Dispatch. Potentially Potionomics as well.
And any and all Supergiant games I think are great to watch or play. Loads of content in that company. And great songs :3
