- Comment on What happened to the creator of Gunman Chronicles, Valve's forgotten FPS? 'My relationship with Gabe didn't really go that great' 3 days ago:
I watched some videos of it and it looked really dated and I lost interest haha. I bet having nostalgia for this is probably required.

Good article, I just wish it would say why the game still isn’t available. I never played this game but went down a little rabbit hole looking for it and ET: Quake Wars and it’s insane the hoops you have to jump through to play these games that used to sell. I still hope to jump through those hoops one day and try it out.

Don’t you mean NVidia’s goal isn’t selling cards for gamers?
- Comment on Why there are a lot of people migrating from Windows to Linux these days? 1 week ago:
The short version is 2 reasons:
- Microsoft requires Windows 11 computers to have special new hardware that not all computers have. Security updates for Windows 10 ends in 3 months. Many people are faced with a choice of buying a new computer, or installing Linux on their current one to save money. Others realize how much Windows 11 sucks shit and switch because Linux is better.
- Gaming on Linux has gotten a lot better recently. For many people, this was the main thing holding them back. Software support in general is better than ever.

What kind of plant/flower tattoo(s) do you have?
- Comment on If nudity was more widely accepted, tattoos would be more popular. 1 week ago:
Most tattoos just look bad. They stopped being cool a long time ago, old women and conservatives get them now. Most of the time when I see them I think “wow you had disposable income in your early 20s, that’s so cool”.
- Comment on Why was file search much faster in Windows XP than in subsequent versions? 2 weeks ago:
I’ve noticed this too. I’ve given up on it and instruct others to look for programs in the start menu alphabetically instead of searching because even that is bad. Same with Outlook searches, I instruct people to use webmail because the searching works there.

Oh man this looks like the original NES Bubble Bobble which I loved! I even hear the same theme song! I hope this will be good because I can’t resist buying it!
- Comment on New Nuclear Throne beta build adds 60/120FPS support and quality of life features 2 weeks ago:
Holy shit I just reinstalled, the new beta is great! For Linux players, make sure you force proton compatibility or else it’ll run the native Linux build which is not the beta. This beta has high FPS and properly locks the mouse into the window!
- Comment on do American drug companies come up with their drug's name, or jingle first 2 weeks ago:
I’ve always heard that there are people or companies who do nothing but trademark fancy-sounding product names and then sell them to car and drug manufacturers. I read it on the internet so it must be true.

- Comment on Why is Jordan Peterson both a Christian and not a Christian? 4 weeks ago:
The funny thing is that these are the people that say college is a waste of time. Could you imagine if you or your kids were a student of this guy? I’d sue to get my tuition and lost time back.
- Comment on Why is Jordan Peterson both a Christian and not a Christian? 5 weeks ago:
He’ll never answer any question because it’s an easy way to avoid being pinned down on any position, which makes him immune to all criticism (in his eyes).

- Comment on DOOM: The Dark Ages Has Reportedly Sold Less Than 1 Million Copies 1 month ago:
I’m avoiding it because it just doesn’t look that fun. I played the last 2 new dooms and they were good, for console shooters. More PC gamers should have higher standards than this. I don’t want a dumb story about medieval times, collecting dolls, linear maps, cyberdragon mounts, running from arena to arena and then starting repetitive wave fights. Just make a good shooter please!

Never heard of this. Sounds useful, except I’m really only buying something from them because I need it quickly most of the time. I don’t have the convenience of waiting for price drops like I do with Steam games haha. Thanks for sharing!

Fakespot was kinda nice, whenever I looked at something on amazon I’d get a sidebar showing which reviews are real and summarizing them. It’s actually pretty useful. Definitely will not miss Pocket.

- Comment on I'm a console gamer so, Why the hate on the Epic Games Store? 1 month ago:
I don’t like the Epic Game Store because Epic has turned it’s back on Linux. Their client doesn’t run on Linux which is where I do all my gaming. I also recognize the economic fuckery they’re doing to gain popularity. They’re spending their Fortnite war chest money on subsidizing games to give them away for the purpose of monopolizing their game store. It’s not fair for other game stores like GOG who can’t just buy game licenses for everyone to become popular.
I hate console gamers as they’ve perverted the FPS genre.

For others reading, Hulshult is also great! These other soundtracks aren’t as iconic as Doom but still absolute bangers.
- Comment on Loving Doom The Dark Ages, only one issue I've had so far. 1 month ago:
I heard Mick Gordon was fucked over by Bethesda where they had someone else finish the music that Mick started. I wouldn’t be surprised if Mick wasn’t involved in this one. I’m not buying this Doom because it looks bad. Bethesda sucks.
