Yeah, we accidentally programmed ads into our games. Don’t worry, we’ll remove them for now and wait a few years before trying again!

I started watching DS9 for the first time couple of months ago. It is very good but visuals are quite dated (just finished season 1).

Not only on this, but also the incessant screaming at the exact time of day when you’re feeling most exhausted. It’s really an experience!

Am I the only one who thinks “Allowlisted” is a seriously stupid term? Why, pray tell, can’t we use name of a colour anymore?
And no, I won’t Caucasianlist YouTube, ever.

First time I have to disagree with xkcd. It’s very much not navigable, with exception of turning right.
Going left or back is impossible as you will be facing counterflow and not able to turn in tight spaces.
- Comment on new adaptor just dropped 1 year ago:
So you’re saying all those gold plated, vibranium braided, ultra expensive hi-fi cables audiophiles buy can actually help carry good speeds over a useless adapter system?!
- Comment on new adaptor just dropped 1 year ago:
Nah, visible damage is a no-no. For small items that “we don’t replace them as long as they work”, a few seconds in microwave does the trick.
For larger ones, you need to penetration test them against 220 volts.
- Comment on You’ve just spent $400 on a baby monitor. Now you need a subscription | Once upon a time there was a company called Miku who wasn’t making quite enough money... 1 year ago:
Your house must be very small, quiet or have thin walls. That, or you didn’t get bothered by babies crying in their rooms.

That don’t you look down at my corner office desk setup! It’s balance. 32" 1440p, 14" 1080p, 32" 1440p. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

No mate, communism is having state managed Apple pickers that pick apples and give them to manager. Management keeps 40% apples for themselves and then divide rest between the whole town, so that everyone in town gets one tiny piece of apple, whether they like apples or not.
- Comment on The difference between equality, justice and equity. 1 year ago:
Tree is the situation, that is benefiting one person more than other.
Equality means you provide equal help to all and expect them to be equally benefitted. Sometimes that doesn’t work.
Perfect example would be a Spaniard and Frenchman learning a new language, say Italian. This would be easy for a Spanish person because Italian is similar to Spanish. Not so much for French. Providing them both with 10 hours of language classes will be equality but results won’t be equal.

Yet sometimes you can’t choose where you come from or where you stand. Even if you let people stand where they want, some have larger hands or are taller and stronger so can gather more apples.
- Comment on The difference between equality, justice and equity. 1 year ago:
The tree is a metaphor. In reality it could be job market, one being man and other a woman applying for jobs that traditionally want/prefer men to work.
Or any number of things.
- Comment on The difference between equality, justice and equity. 1 year ago:
No since the tree is leaning to one side, so more apples will fall that way.

User interface is poor. Cannot customise the gui at all so I feel like it’s a downgrade over Samsung browser that also supports ad blocks.
- Comment on Apple TV vs Firestick. 1 year ago:
If you are going to pay for a lot of subscriptions, Apple TV is probably better.
If you want to use your own media from nas, stream torrents, ad free YouTube Vanced, use iptv subscription then Apple TV is not for you.
