The society would be better if we collectively eat everyone who is hoarding money above some level. Physically, literally, eat them, with mustard and mayo.
But since that probably isn’t happening anytime soon, we have to make them stop playing their stupid fucking games with things that humans need to survive, like, for example, housing. Let them buy and sell and invest and shortly squeeze to the moon whatever bullshit people don’t use, yachts for example. But when they do it with real life stuff it’s harmful for the humanity - Comment on Precarious finances: 38% of Europeans no longer eat three meals a day 11 months ago:
Well yeah. If I sit at home on Sunday playing videogames, I’m OK eating once a day and maybe having some snacks. If I bike to the mountains, I eat my weight in food. If I work intensively, I might have three meals a day, but sometimes I’m OK with two and a coffee with croissant for breakfast even then.
You seem to paint it like it’s some kind of a bad thing - Comment on A perfect visualisation of a wasteful system 11 months ago:
You understand what the word “visualisation” means, right?
- Comment on A perfect visualisation of a wasteful system 11 months ago:
I’m glad that the only problem with my comment you have is that number. Yeah, it might be described as slightly less than that, depending on how you define struggling, some people are perfectly fine with being one medical emergency away from a bankruptcy, and not struggling at all about it. But for the broader point it doesn’t matter, really.

Republican party made a lot of effort to gut Medicare as much as possible, and they are quite successful when they want to destroy something that helps other people.

In case you don’t understand what “metaphor” or “visualization” means, nobody is saying that this exact store is a reason for the homelessness.
- Comment on A perfect visualisation of a wasteful system 11 months ago:
Capitalism is when 27 empty houses per a homeless person, that are used as investments for the rich to play around with their imaginary numbers, while 99% of population struggle to survive.
- Comment on A perfect visualisation of a wasteful system 11 months ago:
That’s just unfaithful interpretation of the argument, and you know it. US on average has 27 empty houses per a homeless person.
- Comment on A perfect visualisation of a wasteful system 11 months ago:
Believe me, not at all. As soon as you even a bit different, small community will shun the fuck out of you, and you have nowhere to go because other small community doesn’t want outsiders in fear of becoming not a small community.
We have evolved to pump out 12 babies and die at the ripe age of 28 while trying to pump out another one, but that’s not how most of us want to organize society. - Comment on Funny how it became bathroom use and imaginary things drag queens do... 11 months ago:

Oh yeah, great, let’s change the fundamental protocol on which all the networks in the world are based. Now two third of the devices in the world crashed because you tried to ping 192.168.0.0.1

Do… Do you think that mechanism is market? Like, you seriously think that?

Or, here me out for a second, I figured that I shouldn’t rely on hot takes to get my information.
- Comment on The Israel-Hamas War Is Drowning X in Disinformation 1 year ago:
Yeah, it was very useful at getting hot takes, misinformation, sensationalist and outsourced soundbites. It still useful for that, but now there is more unchecked nazism.

- Comment on Brighter | Episode 10 - Why we shouldn’t build nuclear power 1 year ago:
New energy storage facility capable of storing enough energy to keep a small city going through the night takes [NaN] to build. Because it doesn’t exist. There is a number of probable solutions that might need to nowhere, and if they don’t, they need unknown amount of years to even go to the first commercial prototype. All the while we will be burning foccil fuels and enriching the same people who brought us to this mess.
Moreover, 15 years is a time to build your first nuclear power plant if you are in isolation and you start from fundament recearch. Thankfully the world is interconnected, and the engineering of the regular nuclear plant was perfected decades before you were born, so I strongly suspect the time will be way better.
It will be expensive, way more expensive than continue to burn oil, and shareholders of oil companies will be very unhappy. But I hope I don’t need to tell you why it’s not a good argument - Comment on Brighter | Episode 10 - Why we shouldn’t build nuclear power 1 year ago:
“Why we should continue burning fossil fuels as long as we can while we trying to figure out energy storage solution. Sure it might never come, or we might boil the oceans before we figure it out, but on the upside the government will save a bit of money, and saving money is what’s important.”
