Amazing game, one I can just pick up and play, choose a direction and just take my time with Arthur on his horse and whatever he comes across
- Comment on I post comments like AAA studios release games, I decide they are done when they are full of errors and missing key aspects that make the whole thing make sense 23 hours ago:
Just say that it’s a Beta comment and all will be forgiven
- Comment on Skyblivion, the fan remake of Oblivion in Skyrim's engine, nears completion 1 week ago:
I really hope so! It seems like such a no brainer, get a studio to remake the bulk of it and keep creative control. I came into TES world in Skyrim and would love to go back through them but I’m a snob for a modern looking game now.

You must answer every call from a scammer and listen intently to them. Or die.

- Comment on Xbox Sales Hit Rock Bottom After Historic 2024 Decline 2 weeks ago:
I am lucky enough to have both the PS5 and the Xbox and personally find very little to pick out between them. I prefer XB controller but think the PS5 one is better quality with the haptic feedback. I love Game Pass and have found tremendous value in it, more so than in PlayStations version though PS still manage to get exclusives.
Mind you the way some of these articles sound is that the whole Xbox gaming division is on its knees and doesn’t sell a machine or make a penny.

I’d like the government to go after Brian pound companies who pay minimal tax like Starbucks, Amazon etc. If you make money off the British people you should pay taxes.

I may be wrong but I believe Nikola Tesla was financed by wealthy New Yorkers after his separation from asshole Edison but they pulled the plug when they realised he was going to give away free power to people.
May be apocryphal but I think there was someone who invented a car that ran on water but big oil stepped in.
- Comment on "Section 31" early review round-up 5 weeks ago:
I’d like to be optimistic but I found the Emperor Georgiou to be such a dreadful character (not the fault of Michelle Yeih who is fab) and can’t root for her at all. When they had the sending off for her in Discovery and everyone was sad when she was horrible to them all it felt so contrived and forced. To see her lead a movie is an odd choice.
- Comment on Lets make a Star Trek Future 2 months ago:
This reminds me of a moment of rebellion in my previous office. We had a photo printing machine in the atrium of the building so I printed multiple copies of Picard, Riker and Wesley, using this exact pic of the Capt.
Under the keyboards I left the good guys either Picard or Riker if they were shaggers and the knobheads/annoying folk got a Wesley. I also left one Q in the office and moved it to different locations.
It was a grim time with redundancies so anything to lighten the mood was welcome. Silly, I know.

- Comment on YouTube ads have ruined the good, old-fashioned Rick Roll. 3 months ago:
Same in UK for Sky. You have to be a Sky TV customer (paying) to use the Android or iOS Sky Go app and it still makes you watch adverts without skipping.
- Comment on YouTube ads have ruined the good, old-fashioned Rick Roll. 3 months ago:
I don’t mind adverts for free services but YouTube take the piss now.
And Amazon. Paying Prime members still have to watch ads.
- Comment on Is there any truth to this? 3 months ago:
Seen very little of it on either Bluesky or Mastodon to be honest. Maybe it’s the type of searches or activities followed.

Good news perhaps but I’m sure I won’t see any benefit in Scotland, still thousands to add solar panels.

It’s creeping back in the UK here too. I think hybrid works best for me, can collaborate 2 or 3 times a week and stay at home and be more productive to actually DO the work.

Original idea, lush visuals, decent looking animations/acting. This is on my watch list for sure.

I had thought there was a Fable coming out soon, there was an ad at the last Gamescom before this one. Unless Molyneux isn’t involved in it?

Yup they reinvested a lot of the oil money back into their country and population whereas we in the UK (Scotland) had it squandered.
