I vastly prefer the DualSense to the Xbox Series controller, so look into that. It’s a little more expensive but the build quality is much higher and it includes an internal rechargeable battery.
The Steam Controller 2 looks like it’s going to be amazing; I do miss the extra Steam Deck inputs when I use my DualSense. Those back grip buttons are so useful.

WITHOUT phoning home
If the data is offline, then it only serves you without selling you out. I know it’s unrealistic; why would any corporation make something that benefits consumers and not themselves?!

Happy with my ad-free dumb fridge.
Let me know when the smart fridge can track when I’m low on essentials and toggle them unchecked on my shopping list, WITHOUT phoning home.

You can mod games on Linux though, some just need a bit of fiddling, just look it up. Never tried Civ 6 but people say it’s possible.

I’ve been using DuckDuckGo for over a decade, the results are fine, and !bangs are extremely useful for piping queries directly to specific sites, !w for wikipedia !aw for archwiki etc. The Duck.ai function is a recent addition, and can be easily disabled if you don’t want it. By default it doesn’t usually pop up by itself. You can also use lite.duckduckgo.com for a much leaner search and absolutely no AI.

I’m not defending Spez, I think he’s a piece of shit and he did edit other users’ comments that were critical of him, which is fucked up, but I don’t think he was actually involved with that sub. It was possible to appoint mods without their knowledge or consent, and he’s a huge target, someone must have done it as a joke.

They’re not banning NSFW, they’re trying to control it. It’s now login-gated (with a cheeky blurred background if you’re not).
