He surely has enough money from Stardew to live comfortably for the rest of his life. Why would he need to publish anything?

Was that supposed to be funny too? The joke didn’t really land.

The joke was more an extension of the argument ammosexuals like to make about everyone being safer when everyone is armed. A bit of a non-sequitur, but those are nice from time to time.

If everyone’s a sniper, we’re all safe.

The US and China maintain a good economic relationship but aren’t exactly buddies when it comes to geopolitical issues and have very different viewpoints on things like human rights and democracy.

Really weird to stumble onto a blog written by someone you vaguely knew in college almost 20 years ago… Anyway, nice job, Ed Zitron.
- Comment on best anime to start on 2 months ago:
It really depends on what genres of other media you’re into. If you like super hero stuff then My Hero Academia might be a good choice. It’s set in a world where most people have super powers, so it’s kind of an interesting take on that whole thing. It’s still being made, but there’s enough to keep you busy for a while.
My jumping off point for anime was Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. It’s an action anime with solid characters and a good plot, and there’s not really any filler. It’s about 80 episodes and is a complete story. Definitely worth checking out even if it’s not your first.

Seriously, searching for anything on your PC is completely useless.
- Comment on Slay the Spire 2 - Reveal Trailer 2 months ago:
The one aspect is slightly unintuitive, but mostly you tap and drag like you would on any mobile interface. It’s wild to me that people would be frustrated out of playing because of the interface.
- Comment on Slay the Spire 2 - Reveal Trailer 2 months ago:
In that case you tap the card and it pops up to show the text. Still pretty intuitive. I guess if you’ve never played a deck building game or RPG it could be confusing?
- Comment on Slay the Spire 2 - Reveal Trailer 2 months ago:
I’ve always just dragged the cards rather than using successive taps. It’s pretty intuitive in my opinion. I would have never thought to call that a virtual mouse…
Deselecting a card without casting it can be a little tricky, but you can usually tap another card or something without causing an issue.

There’s no virtual mouse, are you thinking of the wrong game?

Finding two of those hands with a smaller hand and fewer discards is much harder. I could be miscalculating odds for sure though.

Slay the Spire is the gold standard for me, at least. I haven’t played Monster Train – it doesn’t look that appealing to me, but I’ve heard good things.
- Comment on What are the best indie games you've ever played? 3 months ago:
Playing on the gold stake, I think I don’t make it past the first ante like 80% of the time. I might be too greedy or just bad at the game, but in StS I can make a decent run on ascension 20 at a much higher rate.
- Comment on What are the best indie games you've ever played? 3 months ago:
It’s definitely a tough game. The only thing easy about it is taking your turn, missing something important, then dying.
- Comment on What are the best indie games you've ever played? 3 months ago:
I liked Wildfrost, but it didn’t have that much replay value after 30 or so hours, whereas I have 500+ in StS. They have updated it since I last played though, so maybe there’s a bit more to do now?

Seems fun maybe if they also add some other stuff to make the combat more interesting. It starts off looking promising then just doesn’t really go anywhere.
