Basically look at where the gdp vs. Real wage gap falls apart. It’s pretty clear.

He may be the best republican president we’ve had since the shift, but he is no favorite among progressives.

I don’t think Carter, AOC, or Mamdani authorized drone strikes. Obama, a centrist at best, definitely did.

I think it would, if that was what they named the book and movie.

They can be amazing or terrible. Fly, go through days in dreams, sex, get chased by a monster. Lucid dreams. I also have sleep paralysis, so it can get pretty fucked up. It’s like having another life. Best part is I should be too old to have nocturnal emissions. Worst part is you can be so scared you wake yourself up (and your partner) by screaming. Or, in a few instances, choking or hitting your partner in your sleep.

See also, humanized mice, KO mice with particular genes knocked out to see if gene therapy works, and a host of other intentionally bred or adapted strains.

Uh, don’t go to southeast Asia or you will be quickly disappointed. Plenty of good stuff, plenty of absolutely terrible things, especially baked goods. And you better like hard candy that tastes like perfume.

Just put some in at the end of cooking if you like garlic, no need to waste it.

Good raw beef if fine. Though, why not take sections and make every piece perfect?

No. Just no. For many reasons. Don’t be part of the problem. “You would think…” stop there. You don’t need to use conjecture when there is research at your fingertips. Signed - worked in bacterial and viral genetics and vaccine development for decades.

Counts! I’ve paid some tabs, and sometimes rent playing guitar, but had to go back to science to make it work long term.
I had to make a decision. Everything is a sliding scale/gradient. Money aside even, it’s a lot easier to do great stuff as a musician outside of a science career than it is to to great stuff as a scientist outside of a music career.

One avenue pays bills at all levels, one you have to be truly good at to make anything. Reason I went back into science instead of music.

I get that Gates is a bit of a Carnegie, but putting up 30 billion ($30,000,000,000.00) that is intended to be spent by the last current trustees death (Melinda is the youngest) is more than any other billionaire would ever do. I’m not a shill. BMGF has done a whole lot of good in the world.

I hate that I love football. Especially if you played, it hard to stop watching. NFL aways had the best camera tech, and was amazing in the 80s/90s. No other show on the TV was nearly as good technically.

You whippersnappers. This used to be a thing when chat didn’t autocapitalize. Using caps at the beginning of sentences was similar to using all caps now. Shouting.
