I’d like to be able to follow users and communities so I’m looking to switch to kbin. Are there any instances that use green energy?
Kbin is also using ActivityPub, cannot all of that be followed from here?

AFAICT you can’t follow users from lemmy. Kbin is sort of like a hybrid between Lemmy and Mastodon.

Not a direct answer question but slrpnk.net has green energy on the roadmap.

Actually better than that: I already have the batteries and the inverter and just need to get some solar paneles to install (next year sometime) and then it will run almost completely on locally produced renewable energy.
Right now it is still on local grid power, but that is mostly geothermal and wind (at least 60% on average).
