A persecutory delusion is a type of delusional condition in which the affected person believes that harm is going to occur to oneself by a persecutor, despite a clear lack of evidence. The person may believe that they are being targeted by an individual or a group of people. Persecution delusions are very diverse in terms of content and vary from the possible, although improbable, to the completely bizarre. The delusion can be found in various disorders, being more usual in psychotic disorders.
Persecutory delusion is at the more severe side of the paranoia spectrum and it induces multiple complications, from anxiety to suicidal ideation. Persecutory delusion have a high percentage to be acted upon, such as not leaving the house due to fear or acting violently. The persecutory type is a common delusion and is more prevalent in males.
The causality of persecutory delusions are a combination of genetic (family history) and environmental (drug and alcohol use, emotional abuse) factors. This type of delusion is treatment-resistant. The most common methods of treatment are cognitive behavioral therapy, medications, namely first and second generation antipsychotics, and in severe cases, hospitalization. The diagnosis of the condition can be made using the DSM-5 or the ICD-11.

The feds are letting you know through a social media that you are being monitored.
That statement alone should tell you something. The feds ARE NOT going to contact you via social media.
If something is getting deleted it’s either mods or admin. It’s because what you are saying is breaking the rules of that site /sub/group/etc.

Feds want to build their career, which means successfully prosecuted cases. Anything that goes against getting a open and shut case against you… doesn’t fit the pattern is very unlikely.

You are conflating two things – my question to Lemmy.World re if they were deleting my content from a place of soy censorship and whether feds trail me online (they having access to my digital activity in real time) to invalidate any claims I make about honeypot incel forums by calling me (rather emptily) “crazy.” I know the latter is true. I was in interested in the other inquiry. Nice try.

I mean, yes, there are. Attitudes like this are palpable for everyone to see. Women have a 6th sense about that. More and more men are stuck inside with no social skills these days, and that’s an environment that breeds resentment and hate for women that don’t deserve any of it.
Most also reject the idea of paying for sex, which is fair. I’d never be able to enjoy sex that was paid for.
I’ve been far into that pipeline myself and only got out after doing some really stupid and hateful shit that I’ll be working on making up for through the rest of my life, so I feel at least somewhat qualified to speak to how the average incel (not having a mental breakdown on the internet) thinks.

What does “intrusive monitoring” entail?
- I posted on incels.is, a fed honeypot forum.
- Soon after I was hacked by them and they informed me I was under intrusive monitoring.
- This is part of the “Countering Violent Extremism” (CVE) DHS program (now renamed “Countering Domestic Terrorism” under Biden.)

I identified as an “involuntarily celibate” male and sought support from people in my circumstance. I found a forum called incels.is. The people posting there purported to be men in my circumstance. I believed it and then shared opinions about my plight and the dynamics of the larger sexual marketplace (re how it’s become polygynous.) Soon after – to my shock and horror – they “took the mask off” and told me that they – the people I was posting alongside – were in fact fed agents. You see, they had in fact shutdown real incel spaces years prior and replaced them with ones operated by DHS because they had deemed incels – a class of males who are only the result of emergent polygyny – as “domestic extremists.” The feds then informed me – by revealing to me personal details about my life and my day to day activity (in own apartment no less) that I was now subject to intrusive monitoring and surveillance. When I step outside people from the creepily named “fusion centers” trail me. So in essence I am in an open-air prison without having committed a crime. Moreover, the feds over at incels.is themselves encourage extremist rhetoric which shapes the public image of the incel class. In short they are generating their own work by censoring incels across web and setting up incel forums where they (feds) larp as extremist incels. They set a trap for incelish men seeking support from their own kind. This treatment of incels is motivated by politics because after Trump’s victory in 2016 the neolib establishment hard after any MAGA-adjacent spaces. In 2015, incels were among the first to be ecstatic about Trump. But does that mean they should be politically repressed, silenced, and treated as domestic terrorists?

If you go see an independent mental health professional aren’t there only two outcomes?

They confirm you are as mentally fit as you think you are and you go on with your life (possibly with more resources than you previously had if your mental health really does take a dive).

They identify something that is actually wrong with your mental health and help you fix or learn to cope with the issue.

“intrusive surveillance” entails your phone being hacked as a recorder, their access to your phone/digital communications, snooping devices in your dwelling, and being trailed by fusion center employees when outside.
