Why does engineering look like a FedEx office?

Who else had a hard time believing Geordi had found a woman actually willing to stick around and have two kids with him in Season 4 of Picard? Come on, Geordi actually having sex? With a woman?

Geordie had an incredible counsellor on board the ship, my head canon is that after many many sessions, Deanna said enough is enough and got a restraining order.
Geordie was a brilliant engineer even by Starfleet standards, so he kept his job

Why would it be hard to picture him having sex with a woman?

Geordi was not exactly lucky with the ladies.

Because he usually goes for either robots or ghosts

Having not watched Picard, my head canon will be he maintained a relationship with Sonya, the nerdy Ensign who spilled her Hot Chocolate all over Picard.

The first two seasons were so-so, but Season 3 was basically a TNG reunion complete with the Enterprise D, so it was lots of fun.

I think there is a reference to a third kid who we don’t see on screen.
