Doesn’t that list just describe america?
Yes even the dog thing, plenty of people with shitty landlords

It’s a matter of semantics. Yeah, you could stretch it, but everyone is going to look at you weird if you try to put America in the same bucket as some of the countries that are really known for this stuff.
And yet the GOP is trying to implement sharia law every day.
I live in Texas and so I occasionally see ads from our current Senator John Cornyn saying that the reason we need to vote for him is that he’ll save us from sharia law. So he thinks this complete non-issue is so important that it needs to be central to his campaign. For my money, that alone should disqualify him from being Senator.
If he’s going to waste money during his campaign on a non-issue, there’s no way that he can be trusted to sign laws as a Senator.
Okay, there’s a lot going on with this one, but I’d also like to point out a particular anti-pattern in the “stop to unsubscribe” text. Note that it doesn’t say that you should reply with the word ‘stop’, it’s just a statement, as if any of the boomers (to which this is targeted) would know to do that. Not that it would work if they did, but it’s just particularly insidious.
Funny that no dogs made the list, as the anchor no less. Like that was the one that would clinch the point for MAGATS (you know, cuz they are into the child marriage and hatred of women thing themselves)
Yeah the far-right “Christian” that are anti-semitic and Islam phobic classic
“you had me at no pet dogs”
How does this even make sense mechanically? What would it mean when one system of law bans another system of law?
State law bans local laws
The sky cakes are having a fight with the sky cookies on who gets to do all those things again.

is this a hidden vote to ban the Republican Party in Texas?
