Obviously new here is new here.

They don’t go to places you or I go to on the regular. They have exclusive clubs, restaurants, or hang out on someone’s yacht.
- Comment on I started playing WH40k Rogue Trader and I'm digging it, but I know virtually nothing of Warhammer. Any super basic world info I should know going in? 1 week ago:
Look up the Emperor and his origins which also leads you into what the Immaterium/Warp is as well as the Astrnomicom.
From there you’ll go to the Horus Heresy to understand why things are messed up with some light reading on the various theologies that dominated the Imperium. As well this also leads into understanding what Chaos is, especially to the Imperium.
The Imperium isn’t just fascist, it’s fascist to the extreme with unending bureaucracy. Entire planets get misplaced in the archive as rounding errors. You’ll learn about Space Marines, the Imperial Guard from here.
Then look up the main Xenos factions. I recommend Orks, Eldar, and Tau as those are the current major players/antagonists to the Imperium. There’s more but those usually get more screen time so to speak.
- Comment on I am an American. I used to be proud of my country. Now it feels like a turd circling the drain. Is there anything going on behind the scene that America is actually doing good in? 1 week ago:
There has been an increase interest in NATO and I believe they are working to contribute more to defense because they can no longer expect help from the USA.
- Comment on YSK: The CIA proposed a 9/11 style false flag attack on US citizens to justify invading Cuba 1 week ago:
It’s not a war, it’s an engagement of political discourse through military action to accommodate business interests.
- Comment on YSK that Joseph Stalin created the Great Terror. He started killing people randomly including artists, generals, doctors, scientists, government officials. Everyone was terrified. 1 week ago:
Yet people still don’t know the difference that he was an authoritarian that forced a grinding, socialist state on his people over what actual socialism/communism is.

So based on what we know out of the Epstein files, that’s essentially all billionaires at this point.

It’s ultraprocessed food with additives and ingredients we aren’t fully sure what effect they have on the human body.

- Comment on Datacenters in space are a terrible, horrible, no good idea. 3 weeks ago:
They honestly come off as that sophomore in college that had a single class on something so are going around talking about it smugly. They complain about zero effort shit posts when they do the same thing.
- Comment on Datacenters in space are a terrible, horrible, no good idea. 3 weeks ago:
To prevent any moisture that might be in the air inside the data center from condensing onto electronics. Admit it, it’s a stupid idea and stop defending it as a legitimate one.
- Comment on Datacenters in space are a terrible, horrible, no good idea. 3 weeks ago:
Oh, you got me, turned it around. Oh dear, whatever will I do? Oh right, remark how you don’t know and should stop supporting a stupid idea in the first place.
- Comment on Datacenters in space are a terrible, horrible, no good idea. 3 weeks ago:
Do you know how BIG they would have to be to dissipate a data center worth of heat to keep it as cool as on earth?
- Comment on Datacenters in space are a terrible, horrible, no good idea. 3 weeks ago:
There’s a difference certainly but do you think the people who seem to be floating this idea know the difference?
- Comment on Datacenters in space are a terrible, horrible, no good idea. 3 weeks ago:
To do that they’d have to be filled with something other than something water based to be able to do that over a large area which would require constant maintenance to do so. It’s not easily feasible and I doubt people who want to do this or defend it realize that. I have to look it up but it takes Anhydrous Ammonia to perform that in the ISS. Like this is a bad idea and it fries my brain people trying to defend this.

Tell me you don’t know how radiators actually work without telling me. They dissipate heat via convection through the air surrounding them or gasses in general. What does space lack a significant amount of?
- Comment on Datacenters in space are a terrible, horrible, no good idea. 3 weeks ago:
Tell me if I’m wrong, but with the shielding they have on the ISS doesn’t it have issues that consumer grade computers they use last a few months due to various radiation and heat that they die? So an AI data center is going to be insane to protect long enough to make its components useful.
- Comment on Datacenters in space are a terrible, horrible, no good idea. 3 weeks ago:
What’s going to be performing convection to dissipate heat from the radiator in a manner to support the heat generated by an AI data center?
- Comment on Game over 3 weeks ago:
I hope so too. People should understand where their food comes from better.
- Comment on Game over 3 weeks ago:
I’ve noted so this is anecdotal, but an increase in the lack of food knowledge among younger generations. They’re not being taught what botulism even is. I’ve had cashiers look at me funny when I realize one of the cans has a dent near the lid.
- Comment on Game over 3 weeks ago:
Wait until they learn about seasonings and lettuce…
- Comment on New York sues Valve for enabling "illegal gambling" with loot boxes 3 weeks ago:
I despise all loot boxes and they should be going after EA and Activision/Blizzard if they want really scuzzy, exploitive ones.
- Comment on New York sues Valve for enabling "illegal gambling" with loot boxes 3 weeks ago:
You can start by selling in Steam items from other loot boxes to buy more loot boxes. As well purchase steam gift cards to put money in your account.

In for a penny in for a pound. Might as well push another fascist in the ground.
- Comment on Trans people in Kansas are being ordered to surrender their drivers licenses 4 weeks ago:
They’ve tried doing this at the national level, so it’s in the works.
- Comment on Beast Mode 4 weeks ago:
This is what gets me, people fawning over a man that could just donate money and probably has a significant amount already it’s a pittance. While he exploits people as well.

Especially after a slightly warmer, sunny day the top turns into this crisp ice with slush underneath. I have discovered a new agony with arthritis by having to walk on the crust then having it give way suddenly at random steps.
