It’s ultraprocessed food with additives and ingredients we aren’t fully sure what effect they have on the human body.

They honestly come off as that sophomore in college that had a single class on something so are going around talking about it smugly. They complain about zero effort shit posts when they do the same thing.

To prevent any moisture that might be in the air inside the data center from condensing onto electronics. Admit it, it’s a stupid idea and stop defending it as a legitimate one.

Oh, you got me, turned it around. Oh dear, whatever will I do? Oh right, remark how you don’t know and should stop supporting a stupid idea in the first place.
- Comment on Datacenters in space are a terrible, horrible, no good idea. 5 days ago:
Do you know how BIG they would have to be to dissipate a data center worth of heat to keep it as cool as on earth?
- Comment on Datacenters in space are a terrible, horrible, no good idea. 5 days ago:
There’s a difference certainly but do you think the people who seem to be floating this idea know the difference?
- Comment on Datacenters in space are a terrible, horrible, no good idea. 5 days ago:
To do that they’d have to be filled with something other than something water based to be able to do that over a large area which would require constant maintenance to do so. It’s not easily feasible and I doubt people who want to do this or defend it realize that. I have to look it up but it takes Anhydrous Ammonia to perform that in the ISS. Like this is a bad idea and it fries my brain people trying to defend this.

Tell me you don’t know how radiators actually work without telling me. They dissipate heat via convection through the air surrounding them or gasses in general. What does space lack a significant amount of?
- Comment on Datacenters in space are a terrible, horrible, no good idea. 5 days ago:
Tell me if I’m wrong, but with the shielding they have on the ISS doesn’t it have issues that consumer grade computers they use last a few months due to various radiation and heat that they die? So an AI data center is going to be insane to protect long enough to make its components useful.
- Comment on Datacenters in space are a terrible, horrible, no good idea. 5 days ago:
What’s going to be performing convection to dissipate heat from the radiator in a manner to support the heat generated by an AI data center?

I hope so too. People should understand where their food comes from better.

I’ve noted so this is anecdotal, but an increase in the lack of food knowledge among younger generations. They’re not being taught what botulism even is. I’ve had cashiers look at me funny when I realize one of the cans has a dent near the lid.

I despise all loot boxes and they should be going after EA and Activision/Blizzard if they want really scuzzy, exploitive ones.
- Comment on New York sues Valve for enabling "illegal gambling" with loot boxes 1 week ago:
You can start by selling in Steam items from other loot boxes to buy more loot boxes. As well purchase steam gift cards to put money in your account.

They’ve tried doing this at the national level, so it’s in the works.

This is what gets me, people fawning over a man that could just donate money and probably has a significant amount already it’s a pittance. While he exploits people as well.

Especially after a slightly warmer, sunny day the top turns into this crisp ice with slush underneath. I have discovered a new agony with arthritis by having to walk on the crust then having it give way suddenly at random steps.

- Comment on I have no idea how to do my laundry 1 week ago:
Clean your tub so it’s clean. Put clothes in, spreading them out a bit, plug tub drain, fill with lukewarm water, while filling doing two things. Agitating clothes by stirring them around either by hand or with a tool of sort and steadily adding detergent to work with oils and stains. When clothes are fully submerged in detergent water, let sit a few moments, agitate again. If you know a garment has a tough stain on it take out a wash cloth or similar to rub against the stain with the water and if need be some extra detergent. Agitate and soak some more, drain the water. Refill with lukewarm water and agitate to get all the detergent out in this rinse out. Empty tub, then from there it’s getting the excess water out by squeezing it out in some way. Then letting them air dry or throw them into a dryer.

There’s someone you’re going to be terrible to and they think you’re an asshole for the rest of their lives. It’s unavoidable. It’s a matter of how often that happens. We’re talking about general behavior as well, you just meet someone and know nothing about them or their affiliations. If everywhere they go they meet assholes then they’re the asshole situation.
- Comment on In the US we have signs that say No Shirt No Shoes No service. When did this become a norm? Also if I am wearing a shirt and shoes but no pants can I still enter? 1 week ago:
Honestly, if it’s something we do in the USA and I don’t know WHY we do it, I chalk it up to racism anymore.
That said, I can see a legitimate reason for the shoes deal with how easy glass is to break and it was a heavily used container before plastics became popular. Other than that, I don’t see a health reason to no shirt.

When a person wants to change I’ll help them. But they have to truly want to change and be open minded, that’s much rarer amongst those who grew up in such areas where it’s rehearsed or you get ostracized.
- Comment on Growing up in a conservative house hold where as far back as I could remember running away from these people was my strongest instinct. Its good to know I was 100% correct. 1 week ago:
Grew up in a conservative area in general. My mom wasn’t as oppressive as conservatives go but my father was Trump without the money. Being racist was acceptable, they just called it sparkling prejudice though. Confederate flags were the norm, you’re supposed to love this country no matter what, etc. It’s all brain washing and reinforced propaganda that’ll take generations to remove. I don’t have much in the way of good childhood memories because of that and my father. It’s why I consider conservatism in any stripe reprehensible, it generates broken, unthinking people.
