      Sometimes I try to force myself to imagine it’s just a friendly gang of frogs body-slamming some lily pads out in the garden pond, but the illusion is shattered when I realize even frogs need to sleep.

      Is that the second time this sort of thing has happened to you (where you were able to give us status updates, but not physically access your server), or was the previous incident I’m thinking of with a different admin?

      Either way, I appreciate you, but I think your ‘bus factor’ is too high.

      And also, some suggestions:

      • Your XMPP is also down. I just came across this by luck. Maybe adding your alternative username (kris@feddit.org) to your main povoq@slrpnk.net about is not a bad idea. That would help people find your posts when an outage is happening.
      • A status page (status.slrpnk.net) where you (admins) can leave comments? Perhaps, when slrpnk.net is down, automatically redirect there?
