Didn’t know Philippines had this reputation too.
My friend was in Thailand with his wife for vacation and almost every auto or cab guy asked him if he want to ‘boom boom’.

My first trip to the Philippines 15+ years ago on the last leg I ended up in a row of just us white men in a plane almost nearly populated with Filipinos. I was in my early 30s and the other men were all in their 50s.
I stopped talking to them pretty early when it was clear they were all looking for women, and the photos they shared showed the women are very young. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so sick to my stomach. And I was in the middle seat of 5…

Several studies have found that women prefer men their own age or slightly older, and men prefer women in their early 20s regardless of their own age. It’s not hard to explain that with evolutionary biology, as that’s when women are most likely to successfully bear children.
Of course evolutionary biology can explain behaviors like rape and dueling, which are serious crimes in modern societies.
Your “very young” might mean younger than early 20s though, and we do have a crime for that most places if the number gets low enough.

Yeah - but 4 is more common for the middle row. These would be for long haul flights.

The old 747 Jumbos had the middle row with 5 or even 6 seats, if I remember correctly.
