Sendlehas been delivering the worst experience for me. They have consistently been MUCH slower and have even outright lost parcels.I am happy to see them shut operations.

Sendle was dogshit. As someone who runs a small business and uses the much more reliable Australia Post, it always annoyed me when I’d buy something from another small business and they’d completely cheap out and use this terrible service to save a few dollars. It shows a complete lack of respect to the customer, for whose order we should feel responsible for until it arrives safely.

Sent and received dozens of things with sendle without issue. Cheap and slow delivery was my experience.

Good riddance. Yet another lowballing courier undercutting what should be a natural monopoly for standard parcels operated by public-owned AusPost (unless the Libs get in again and have a go at privatising it).

Remember how mad the Libs wanted everyone to be when AusPost C-suite got luxury watches as gifts? They wanted to burn the whole of AusPost to the ground over it and yet (from memory) AusPost is actually quite profitable and those executives are relatively low-paid for their positions.
I guess my point is; even though C-suite usually suck, AusPost even manages to do that right. It’s a very well run public service. And the Libs still want to destroy it.

As is natural, for neoliberal capitalists.
They hate everything that’s for the public good, instead of being run for a profit.
Fingers crossed the latest breakup of the coalition is permanent and the power vacuum shifts us (and hopefully the Labor party) further to the left.
