I mean, I’m glad they refrain from drunk driving, but they’re doing right for the wrong reasons.
Your motivation for not drunk driving should be that you don’t want to risk harming or killing innocent people. Does that not enter your head?

I don't give a crap, honestly. Follow the rules for whatever reason. That's why laws are laws, so people don't need to agree on whether something is a good idea or not, they just... have to do it and at least wait a few years to whine about how it's a bad idea.
I don't need to respect people doing dangerous shit in my vicinity. Not getting turned into people pulp by a ton of hurling metal isn't a morality test for me to pick my friends or find people to admire. It's a legal requirement so that me and... you know, children, get to remain attached to all our limbs for as long as possible.
Same for those driving with a phone in hand and texting, those speeding… I almost got killed 3 months ago because of an motherfucker that was texting while driving a fucking truck.
So many drivers are absolute assholes with no respect for other people’s lives the moment they start driving.
I couldn’t give less of a shit why people do good things, as long as they’re doing them. I ain’t trying to judge people on their thoughts and feelings, its their actions that I give a shit about. Guy who doesn’t drive drunk because its illegal is still same net good as guy who doesn’t do it because its the right thing to do.
Same for murder.

I drink and drive exactly as much as I want to and no one will ever change my mind on that.
Of course the amount I want to drink and drive is ZERO.
If the only reason someone does or doesnt do something is because of a rule or law, that person is a bad person
So you have the same amount of respect for people who don’t refrain from drinking and driving as you do for those who refrain solely because of the law?
I’m with you 100%
I’m with you 98%
Drunk driving is bad, but I don’t care for fisting
It’s not for everybody

This is just “Christians” acting good because they’re afraid of Hell all over again.
