Yes because you presumed I was male. Don’t assume male by default. You could have said person instead of man and they instead of he
- Comment on ChatGPT has the same personality flaws as some of the dumbest people I know 1 day ago:
Firstly I’m a woman. Secondly, I’m not saying ChatGPT actually has desires and all that, I’m saying it behaves like the type of person who has those motivations

- Comment on A lot of media depict the United States as being invaded by fascists from the outside. Nobody thought fascism will come from within until now. 1 week ago:
In fact America was founded on the genocide of natives. The founding fathers were such hypocrites, preaching about freedom while owning slaves

The Handmaid’s Tale depicts fascism rising from within America

What an awful take. I hope you aren’t a parent if you expect a parent to just get over the loss of their child. You don’t expect people to be motivated by loss of any loved one other than a romantic partner? Really? No other kind of love is strong enough for you? I’ve reached my limit of stupid for tonight.
- Comment on Everybody is fine with celebrities like Whoopi Goldberg making up fake names for themselves, but when someone chooses a name for themselves to suit their gender identity it's suddenly a problem 1 week ago:
It is pretty arbitrary which names we consider masculine and which names we consider feminine. On Big Brother Canada, there was a man named Hope. A man named Ashley works as a writer for Marvel Studios.

Transphobes claim it’s too confusing to call someone by a new name but have no problem with people changing their name when they get married or just because they want to

How does it protect their identity when I can Google and find Whoopi Goldberg’s real name?

I didn’t say everyone had a problem with transgender people, I said everyone was fine with celebrities making up fake names

JK Rowling used her initials because the publisher thought the books would sell better under a less feminine name. She now uses an even more masculine pen name for her detective novels. There’s nothing wrong with that in and of itself, but it’s kind of hypocritical given her outspoken anti-trans viewpoints.

- Comment on Magic is real, we just know how it works and call it technology 2 weeks ago:
I argue that magic doesn’t exist by definition. If it actually, provably, exists we define it as not magical. Why isn’t magnetism considered magic? Because it exists and can be studied.

Fun fact: T-Rex didn’t coexist with Stegasaurus. Movies lump all dinosaurs together like they all lived at the same time but they really didn’t. Many species came and went over the millions of years dinosaurs lived

- Comment on "Pro-life" and "pro-choice" aren't actually opposite positions 3 weeks ago:
I look at the spectrum as like a horseshoe, the extreme ends are the two ends and pro-choice is the curved end. The curved end is pro-choice and the extremely ands are anti-choice. It’s uncommon, but there are people who believe abortion should be forced in some situations.
