I look at the spectrum as like a horseshoe, the extreme ends are the two ends and pro-choice is the curved end. The curved end is pro-choice and the extremely ands are anti-choice. It’s uncommon, but there are people who believe abortion should be forced in some situations.

I think it’ll take a collapse of America and complete restructuring of the government to fix things

They keep claiming all immigrants are dangerous criminals, while not being at all concerned that a dangerous criminal is in charge of the government

Same, I used to participate in antinatalist forums because I strongly believe that it’s selfish to bring new life into the world when you could instead love one of the children already in need of a home. But I don’t agree with the extreme antinatalist stance that nobody should be born ever. I think if you get pregnant and you want kids, by all means, keep it. Antinatalists are extremely cynical people who think life isn’t worth living at all.

I was against abortion myself when I was younger. But even if you see it as murder, at some point you should realize the situation isn’t black and white and there are situations where abortion makes sense. A friend of my sister is having an abortion because the fetus has a rare condition where it’s intestines are growing on the outside and it won’t live long anyway if born. I would think most sensible people would at least be okay with abortion in situations like that. Why make a baby be born to suffer and die immediately?

That’s why I put “pro-life” in quotes in the title

When I have centrist views about anything (not just politics but more trivial matters like pop culture), I’m reluctant to share them online because extremists on both sides interpret you as an extremist on the opposing side

That sounds fun. I’ve often wondered about the Nirmal students at Hogwarts not involved in the action. I once read a Reddit post talking about the Frozen movies from the perspective of a ransom Arendelle citizen. Also, I agree, fuck Rowling.

I also love Ender’s Game and Ender’s Shadow. Shame about the authour. Point if view sequels are great. I’ve been reading a great fanfiction retelling the Harry Potter books from Hermione’s point of view, six books are out so far

A few years ago, I was watching Home Alone 2 on tv with my family and my brother-in-law pointed out that they cut the part where the family wakes up and sees they slept in and are all frantic. Kind of important to the plot because it helps explain why they’re in such a hurry at the airport, they leave Kevin behind. Yet they left in Donald Trump’s useless cameo, which adds nothing to the story. Apparently previous broadcasts cut Trump’s cameo and people complained because sensationalist headlines told them it was political when it was really because of time reasons and his cameo being unimportant to the plot.
- Comment on Yesterday, in a galaxy far far away 1 week ago:
I wonder, did the galaxy believe Luke’s story about Vader suddenly turning on the emperor last minute? It seems in the sequel trilogy that he dud tell people cause Rey had heard about it. Empire loyalists probably thought it an insult to Vader’s memory to say he turned against the empire.

I remember my sister and I watching the movie A Little Princess on tv multiple times but always missing the beginning. We didn’t know the name of the movie until we came across the book.
