Welcome to fascism: laws for thee, not for me.
That’s pretty much it.

You can’t disable any of those alias so you will always recieve mails from them, even if they are sent to spam and they still expose your full email address.

- Comment on Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince talks about Italy fines while praising JD Vance and Elon Musk 1 week ago:
Can confirm, friends there are extremely happy with how they are handling it. Seems everyone loves having half of the internet down whenever there’s a play beacuse they block cloudflare as a whole.
- Comment on Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince talks about Italy fines while praising JD Vance and Elon Musk 1 week ago:
Let me explain you what are those fines for:
In Italy, soccer is so powerful that commands the government. They can legally block batches of IP adresses just because one of them could be streaming a soccer game.
It means if your IP is in the batch (even if you are innocent but just happens to share server with that pirate) you are cut from internet. No appeal, the IP is dead and your only choice is get a new one.
It’s so dumb that they even blocked google once because of it. Cloudshare is fighting that, and I can assure you everyone in Italy, except the usual assholes licking the politician boots are beyond pissed with the so called “piracy shield”.

If you don’t trust anything, then your only option is self-host everything,
Is Proton perfect? Not at all. Are they better than Google? Well… if you trust the external audits (1) and external sources in general (2), then, they probably are.
But if you don’t trust anything, then you probably don’t trust those audits either, so it’s pointless to even mention them.
- Comment on Alternative to Gmail? I currently use my own domain for email, but i miss the priority inbox 1 week ago:
Get a proton mail. The complete plan not only supports custom domains, they also let you create unlimited alias.
This is the best thing ever. Alias work with custom domains too and they basicalli give you an endless amount of single-use mails allowing you to sign to each service/website with a different email (that will then be forwarded to your inbox).
This not only leaves your real email safe and unexposed, but it also lets you organize your inbox more tidily if your aliases have a structure and you use email rules for them (e.g. you can create aliases for your shipping stuff called [website].shipping@[myalias].com and then make a rule including all the adresses .shipping to a specific folder).

So many drivers are absolute assholes with no respect for other people’s lives the moment they start driving.

Cheating online is gonna be extremely easy since you can just run a cheat program as legitimate software.
That could snowball into people not buying any big competitive game on ps5 anymore.
- Comment on PS5 ROM Keys Leaked: Sony’s Unpatchable Security Nightmare (2026) | The CyberSec Guru 2 weeks ago:
In simple: you can tell your ps5 that ANYTHING is legal and ok to be executed on it.
- Comment on PS5 ROM Keys Leaked: Sony’s Unpatchable Security Nightmare (2026) | The CyberSec Guru 2 weeks ago:
Not that I particularly care as the few exclusives on ps5 are all arriving on pc.
But this is gonna be hell on earth for anyone interested in competitive multiplayer games.
And the damage to Sony might be epochal if the exploit is easy enough for anyone to do it.

- Comment on EU to unveil plan to tackle housing crisis 4 weeks ago:
I’ll tell you how to solve the crisis: property tax on one house is the same as it is now.
Second house? Same (we should be allowed to own a second house if we want).
Third? Tax is 20% of the property’s value. (If you can own a third house, you can pay taxes, you don’t need so many houses anyway and, if you do, you’re probably living from it, so yeah, pay)
After the third, the tax raises to 100% of the house value as yearly tax, raising by a factor of 10x for each aditional house.
There, hoarding houses will be so expensive that it won’t be an issue anymore.
- Comment on There exist people who will go through the effort of leaving their home, traveling to a movie theatre, paying for a ticket, and sitting for 2-3 hours for a movie they claim "nobody wants to see" 4 weeks ago:
I loved going to watch movies at the cinema. Then they decided to raise tickets prices absurdly. And set popcorn and drinks prices even higher and, against the law, decided to ban consumption of outside food (you have to argue every time with them). So right now, a full price ticket with popcorns and a small drink goes for more than a decent diner at a restaurant.

I’m not really sure where do you see I’m mad. I just exposed my opinion on what they are doing.
It looks to me as if they where wanting to avoid criticism that they know they will recieve and I simply said that it may or may not work.

I didn’t know because I wasn’t following the game. I have bought several games on early access that were rough, to say the least, and they turned out fine or even great later. If you sell your game on early access and areclear about what people are getting for the set price, people will understand (most of them at least).
It really sounds like they are going to ask for a controversial price with a lackluster game and they fear people will criticize.
If, for example, you sell me an Early Access game with barely 1h of gameplay at 30€, of course I’m gonna be pissed. But if the game price is set at 10€ and looks nice, I’ll probably buy it and either wait for it t be more polished or try it and see if I can give some feedback.
And this is what happens with most EA games

While I understand that negative reviews at launch can kill a game, to me, this reads as
“Our game will be shit at launch and we rather try to launch it ASAP for a few fanboys that will praise us while they give us money from the start than launching on steam a few months later, more polished and without the fear for negative reviews”
Not sure how will it work

- Comment on Bye, Copilot: Microsoft is making Copilot a hands-free experience on Windows 1 month ago:
It is important to note that this UX modification relates to the Copilot app that is available to all Windows PCs, offering the Microsoft 365 Copilot experience. It does not refer to the built-in Copilot integration available just for Copilot+ PCs. This essentially means that the UX update will be available to a lot more customers since it encompasses all Windows 11 users and Windows 10 remainers, rather than just those with Windows 11 Copilot+ PCs.
Why do they make it sound as if it were a good thing?

- Comment on Bad people and bullies usually have justified reasons for why they are doing bad things, so instead of blaming them, maybe sympathize with them. 2 months ago:
Just because you had a shitty life doesn’t mean you can make other people’s lives miserable.
I was bullied during most of my childhood and highschool years. Are you telling me that I should sympathise with my bullies because they had a rough time? I had an awful time thanks to them and I didn’t go making other people’s lives shitty. And I didn’t have their sympathy either.
For my bullies I don’t have sympathy. I don’t have hate either, because they don’t deserve anything from me.
- Comment on What's gluetun? 2 months ago:
It’s not a “normal” vpn client. It allows you to create a network in your server using a variety of vpn providers so other containers can use it to connect to the internet. You use tailscale to connect to your server from outside home, but you use gluetun for your containers to connect to the outside world without exposing your real IP.
- Comment on Suggestions to have a home server VPN and and Mullvad at the same time? 3 months ago:
Okay so… what about using tailscale? You set as exit node your server, which is configured with gluetun to connect to a VPN (or ideally, it’s online through a router that has itself a VPN for all the connections). Then you connect through tailscale to your homeserver and exit the internet through it (which is already under a VPN).
