somethings a fellow author thinks about other authors
wait what
Physiological thriller? Like an anatomy book?
No
Physiological as in brain confusing
“The League of Frightened Men” by Rex Stout.
One of the earliest, and best, of the Nero Wolfe mysteries.
As a young man, an author was crippled in a hazing accident. While he’s gone on to become a successful writer, many of his classmates feel he is planning vengeance.
They see hints and clues to his evil intentions in the books he writes.
Fun read and an interesting look at the times it was written in.
so the author was crippled or the author wrote a book about a kid who was crippled and became a successful author?
Needs accessibility.
Pure image of text for no legitimate reason.
so you don’t like it? should I not post anymore of this this kind of stuff?
You should be accessible. Text-only posts are popular on reddit. Lemmy seems to allow it, too.
If there was any connection between an author’s work and their actual life, I’m grateful that Cormac MccArthy has been stopped.

When you finish a really good Dystopian book. “Wait this is current events… WTF?”

More often now it’s “Hah, that was a pretty optimistic outlook!”
