  What was the play here?

  Obviously, this post was inspired by the amount of AI hate you see around here, so were you trying to get other AI fans to speak up and somehow make some big joke about how gullible the AI haters are?

  Even if you were legitimately looking for a new scam, you would have just punished your plans to all the people you think would fall for it.

  Possibly just rage bait for some weird kink?

    It was just a thought I had in the shower. I’m not particularly fond of AI’s impact on the environment or how it was decided for me that I need it on all of my tech. I get and understand where the dislike is. The hate is not isolated to lemmy. I don’t think it’s proportional to other issues in people’s lives or in the world. I don’t know how an individual could ever be at peace if it was. So there’s definitely a big emotional driver to this hate, and emotional minds that negative are easier to grift.

    Again it was just a shower thought which is the requisite for this comm.
