I didn’t have Theresa May becoming Labour leader on my bingo card, though perhaps desperate times call for desperate measures.
Look, I’m not happy with what Starmer and Co have done so far in aggregate, but the PLP would be signing it’s own death warrant if they engaged in the type or psychodrama which the Tories did over the last 5 years.
A good amount of MPs already know they will likely lose their seats in 2029, but trying to accelerate that is not in their interest.
I completely agree, they’ve got five years, they should try to actually get something done.

But he put a load of immigrants in a local hotel, and being the sneaky time-travelling bastard that he is, he managed to do this back in 2020 when the Tories were in charge. 😠

I like nationalised rail and all that. But then there’s Palestine, his pro-AI stance, suppressing dissent, the ID scheme, and the “island of strangers” thing. I know it was foolish to expect much better from a Sir, but still disappointing.
