I will forever laugh at people with smart fridges. Like how I already laugh at people with smart beds, smart locks on their front door and not to mention standard smart phones.
Seems like the more smart stuff one has, the stupider one is.
I like me refrigderators, vacumes, covfefe makers, waches, driers, and toster ovins like i like me: pretty stupid.
If this world wasn’t what it is today, I would absolutely be like that’s cool! But the world of ads, and spying on you and your every move that you let them get away with? Nah, sorry, im good, thanks. Just remember, if you have to put these devices on your network, be sure to isolate them and not allow them to phone home.
Samsung recently added 7- and 9-inch screens to its new Bespoke AI appliance line.

I really, really, really want to believe that line. But I don’t. I can see too many ways they will convince the average schmuck that it’s the new normal and you’re some kind of Luddite weirdo if you don’t have one.
And the main reason I don’t believe it: manufacturers stopped caring what consumers want years ago. They push out what they want us to have.
