It takes a year or two to collect enough court admissable evidence to process the thousands of individuals that will need to be charged after this regime is ousted and the constitution is reinstated as a federal document and law in the near future.

Well, it will end eventually. What the united states is doing right now is completely unsustainable long-term. I think it’s going to get a lot worse for a lot of people for a long while, but it will end.

Honestly, the pay is crap. I looked the other day to see how much it pay the new Icetapo was offering and its starting at GS-5 rates…about $45-65k.
I couldn’t afford my bills and beat up my fellow Americans at those rates.

You are not considering the overtime, which is where LEO makes bank.
There are also off-hours work where you act as armed security. You would want to be deputized with state or county so you can wear those uniforms, for fairly obvious reasons in the current political climate. It doesn’t matter if you are actively undermining ICE, you are still ICE and will be treated as such.

It’d be a shame if you got hired to be armed security and your friends who would treat ICE obviously nicely based off your tone tho just happened to know exactly where and who you’re doing security for, and you might just happen to “fall asleep” or something during a certain time you might say outloud totally not as a signal when said friends would politely be sneaking in where you would be “guarding” to give the nice person a handshake.
Just a thought.

You can’t just sign up to be ICE. They want you to be a LEO with 2 years experience before you apply to ICE. So you have like 4-6 months of training plus 2 years as a cop, plus 13 weeks for ICE training before you can do what you feel you must. They will prefer experienced LEO, so 5+ years of experience.
Just getting into LEO in most places requires you to have former military experience plus a college degree that is preferably related to law enforcement. If you have no Military experience and no degree, you are at a huge disadvantage in the hiring process regardless of your exam and interview results. Like out of 800 applicants for 5 spots, you wouldn’t be in the top 200.
Not to mention you could be tried and convicted with prejudice for leaks and you would have to carry out enforcement actions all the same.
You are better off voting for what you want. Flipping congress blue in the mid-terms would do more to further your beliefs than spending 3 years of your life to just be thrown in prison for longer than this administration is in office.

You don’t NEED military experience or a college degree to apply.
During the selection process extra points are awarded for military and degree. So you are at a disadvantage in being selected that trumps excellent test scores if you have neither.

I was thinking this more of a way of destroying / disabling / slowing down the whole thing from within.
Not so much about fucking the goats as pretending you are and then letting the goats get away by “accident”.
You’d probably get fired kinda quick, but still help out people while gunking up the operation.
Maybe even working with people on the outside too of course

I don’t believe you could really meaningfully deter their operations through casual poor performance. I think either you’d have to directly sabotage them or you’d have to be complicit.
I do think everyone should flood their applications systems with time-wasting fake applications, but actually interviewing and getting hired is unlikely to be productive.
