  I was just thinking the other day that I really wish I still had a Psion. Tolerable screen and keyboard. Slim and funny form factor. Runs for days on a few AAA, and rechargeable AAA at that. I used to play chess and read ebooks on one. Never liked EPOC(?), but it was really efficient.

  I also love using a Palm Pilot because it helps me commit notes to memory rather than just collecting them for later. You’ll be surprised how well you retain information when you enter it into a Palm, using the stylus to peck in letters deliberately. There’s also nothing quite like the satisfaction of hot-syncing your appointments and ideas while your Palm sits in its cradle.

  I still rememberb the Palm Pilot input alphabet - every letter is represented by a single stroke and it was fast-enough and very accurate.

  I literally had a palm pilot so I could browse the web when not at home. lol
