I don’t need 24oz of pasta sauce. I need 8. And no I don’t want to have this jar of pasta sauce hanging around my fridge till it goes bad and not dominant to have pasta 3 time in a row.
An 8 ounce can of tomato sauce is dirt cheap, buy that, add sugar, oregano, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper, onion powder and garlic powder.

If you know you’re only going to eat 8 ounces at a time, pasta sauce freezes just fine. Separate the jar into 8 oz portions and freeze them for later use.
