Which would be even funnier if the Boston accent dumped the Ts, but instead they dropped the Rs.
Extremely unfortunate now that the Americans also seem to have lost the R in “Revolution” these days, and don’t believe in evolution.

It’s called a glottal stop. It’s fine to think it’s weird as long as your accent doesn’t pronounce Ts as Ds, in which case you’re the weird one!

Had so many problems learning to pronounce that, until i found out that it’s pretty much just “de” with a soft “d” like in “fløde”.
