Isn’t he the fucker who built his own tomb with thirteen casks, 12 of them representing Jesus’ disciples, and the head one being his own?

I don’t know if it ended up being his final resting place, but I do know that he planned to do as much.
ALL these edifices the emperor consecrated with the desire of perpetuating the memory of the apostles of our Saviour. He had, however, another object in erecting this building: an object at first unknown, but which afterwards became evident to all. He had in fact made choice of this spot in the prospect of his own death, anticipating with extraordinary fervor of faith that his body would share their title with the apostles themselves, and that he should thus even after death become the subject, with them, of the devotions which should be performed to their honor in this place. He accordingly caused twelve coffins to be set up in this church, like sacred pillars in honor and memory of the apostolic number, in the center of which his own was placed, having six of theirs on either side of it.

Is this where we get the word “constant”?
funkless_eck@sh.itjust.works 3 weeks ago
other way around. constans, constantis, constanti, constantem etc in Latin - meaning steadfast - derives from PIE.

Because he “constant"ly named stuff after himself? If that was why, it would be Alexander. That dude could only name a city Alexandria like his life depended on it.

In Constantine’s limited defense, it was not officially known as Constantinople until after his death

And we know for sure it’s not his mom who named them all?
