Any other links available. Unable to read most of the article due to annoying popups and blocker blockers.

Out of curiosity, what’s your setup?
I read comments like yours and when I go to the site it’s just the website and the article in full. No pop-up, no warnings, nothing. Not going to recommend anything without being asked, just genuinely interested how others view/use websites.

Currently on vacation in Mexico using their wi-Fi. (I have a pi-hole setup at home. ). Using mobile with iOS. Tried Firefox as well as Firefox Focus. Neither blocked the annoying bits.

Interesting, thanks for the info. I’m not much into iOS, so I’m guessing it has something to do with that.
Anyway, enjoy your vacation!

TLDR - they don’t want a transition from combustion engines to electric cars. They are saying building electric cars is bad for the environment.

And they protest in Germany, the economy that’s built on producing cars and who would happily keep producing more ICE BMWs. The same country that sees speed limits in the Autobahn as sacrilege.

Also the country that still predominantly runs on coal for its power grid… one would think they have bigger fish to fry. EVs are a net positive after about 40’000km compared to ICE Cars. (Even faster depending on the source of charging)

Improved that.
