It’s not, I think people just get caught up in the narratives we make.

ig the idea is that California has 40m people, but none of them are both 18 and women? Idk why violet’s demographic is relevant at all, let alone important enough to think she’s lying about 😂

It’s because of the fact that violet makes all of violet’s posts about violet. Naturally people are going to want to know more about violet, but then violet responds that anyone who wants to know about violet is deranged.
They represent themselves as basically a typical woman as written by a male sci-fi author, and then they aggressive towards anyone who questions it.

I couldn’t put my finger on why I was side-eyeing all of that this morning, but you explained it perfectly in this comment.

Violet does sound like a roleplay of some kind. But it’s a very well thought-out identity. Quite consistent. I wonder if any part of it is true

The wanting to be accepted and adored by the men on Lemmy is probably true.

Oh, so she’s the internet version of a pick me.

No… she doesn’t…?

Looking at her posts on the new account, she’s clearly playing as a young and hot woman who is “based” and uses raunchy humor to appeal to the crowds here. All 3 of the posts have this same perspective so far.
Granted I didn’t catch a lot of her original account’s postings, just saw it here and there, but she is clearly posting her points of view.

Everyone posts from their point of view. I’m doing it right now.
